About Me!

Hi! Thanks so much for visiting : )
Hopefully here you will be able to learn a little about me!!

Obviously, my name is Sandee *lol* I'm 36, married to Mick for 14 years, and have 2 children who are not children anymore ... Cheryl is 18 and Scott is 17. We are Aussies ... and live near Wollongong, which is on the South Coast of NSW, about an hour south of Sydney. We have 4 fur babies *lol* all Australian Silkies, and all with a problem of some kind! Mitzie is our oldest and she came to us from a neglected home. She was severely mistreated, but she has been with us for 10 years now and is seriously loved and spoiled. We have had both Sniffles and Lucky from birth, they are brother and sister and are 8 years old now. Sniffles has only one eye and Lucky has hearing problems. Our latest recruit is Harley and he is just completely nuts *lol* He is only 18 months. Oh and we have a bunch of fish. I don't 'work' anymore ... I have suffered from endometriosis for a very long time. I had my first surgery at 15!! I have gone through many different treatments and eventually had a hysterectomy when I was 30. Unfortunately the endo returned and I now have it in the bowel and have some serious complications because of it. I also have back problems that were left too late to treat. Back pain is a common symptom of endo so we didn't pay much attention to it until after the hysterectomy. Anyway, enough of that ...

I love my computer and would be totally lost without it!! I am addicted to psp and have been for about 7 years now I love to create tags and stationary, and I have just completed a course with Creative OE Stationary. If you have an interest in creating oe stationary I would recommend this group. I enjoy learning new things and last year successfully completed the Budding HTML Guru's course which has enabled me to put together my website the way I want it! I then joined the Red Rose Web Design course which I finished earlier this year. I would highly recommend all of these groups.

I am also addicted to crafts!! I love beading and create alot of jewellery as well as things like bookmarks, suncatchers, keyrings, mobile phone charms etc. I also enjoy cross stitch, latch hook, knitting, crocheting, cardmaking and am going to try quilting soon : )
I also really enjoy cooking and gardening, though I can't get down in our main garden anymore ... it's too much for my back to cope with ... so I have created a beautiful little balcony garden that's all mine : )
It looks really pretty at the moment with all the flowers in bloom.

A few facts about me ...

* Favourite colour is ??? I love colour and change my mind all the time! At the moment I seem to have a preference for lighter shades of orange and yellow.

* Favourite Movie/s ... lol, there isn't just one. My fav older movie would have to be dirty dancing : ) I also love all the Harry Potter movies and LOTR.
We watch these several times a year!!

* Favourite TV Show ... So you think you can dance just finished but I really enjoyed it. Same thing with the Biggest Loser! I am also really enjoying Underbelly at the moment. My favourite shows are House, NCIS, SVU and Medium. I also love That 70's show and when it was on Charmed.

* Favourite Books/Authors ... I love reading and have a huge collection of books *lol* Of course I am a huge Harry Patter fan and have all the books, which get reread quite often. My favourite author at the moment is Janet Evanovich, the Stephanie Plum novels are hilarious!! I also have collections of Patricia Cornwell, Bryce Courtenay, Barbara Taylor Bradford (I love the Women of Substance novels), Danielle Steel, Dan Brown, Jeffrey Deaver and Jackie Collins!!!

I can't think of anything else to add right now *lol*
