2002 Adopted Dogs
Their Story and Happy Endings
SPIKE
BOOZER
Spike is a wonderful male boxer mix, about 2 years old now.  He was an owner surrender at a local shelter in Cannelton, IN, January 2002.  He was adopted by my sister, who just fell in love with this sweet young man.  He had been kept chained all of his young life outdoors, but adapted very well to life indoors . He now enjoys the comfort of the couch, the bed and is very much loved.
Boozer was an owner surrender to a local shelter in Cannelton, IN.  His family was moving and were unable to take him.  He found his forever home with me.  He is my sunshine, he is also Tyler's best friend and playmate.   Please visit his and his step brother Teddy's photo albums at:

Casper
Casper had been running as a stray and was pulled from the local shelter in Owensboro, KY.  By the time I got off work, drove to Owensboro, KY, they were getting ready to lead him to the back.  He was such a sweet, sad little boy.  He was very skinny, lots of sores and scabs everywhere from the fleas and ticks that covered him from head to the tip of his tail.  He had every kind of worm and parasite imaginable.  It took several months to get him up to par.  I believe he had been abused at one time, and was scared of quick hand or arm movements.  After all he had been through, he still displayed the most gentle nature, very mild mannered and oh so loveable.  He was adopted by a wonderful couple in Nebraska that love him dearly, and he certainly deserves it.
Casper with his new Mom and Dad
Please consider a rescue or shelter dog.  They are looking for their forever home and would love to make it yours.
See how beautiful I am now.  I went to my forever home on December 16, 2002.  My new mom was crying when we arrived, she didn't think I would come.  Of course I had to wash her tears away.  It is nice to be so loved.
