| If you haven't already, open the zip and move the contents to a folder. Open new image 350 x 350, click the glasses on this layer on layer palette to close this layer, add a layer, name it red line. Click on your draw tool, set to single line, 10, antialiase, use dark red color and draw a line from the middle of your graphic to the bottom, go to effects, innerbevel, choose bead, but we are going to change a few settings. Change smoothness to 60, depth to 11, shininess to 44, angle to 49, click ok. Duplicate this layer by either right clicking on it, choose duplicate from menu or by going to layers, duplicate. Close these 2 layers by clicking the glasses on these layers. Add a layer, go to selections white, make foreground white and floodfill. Add another layer. Make foreground color a royal blue. Go to selections, from disc, find folder you put the selections in. Click on blue an flood with a royal blue color, ok. Add another layer, go selections, from disc, click on red stripes, flood with a dark red, ok. Add another layer, selections, from disc, click on stars, flood with white, ok. Now, being sure your 2 bottom layers are closed with the glasses x'd out, and one of the other layers hilited, go to layers, merge, visible. Duplicate this layer by either right clicking on it, choose duplicate or by going to layers, duplicate. Image, flip, move this layer so the layers are tip to tip and go layers, merge visible. Duplicate this layer, go to image, rotate 90 either direction is ok. This should land in right place with no placement necessary. Add layer, set foreground to the blue you used and background to white, click on preset tools, choose the star 2 and make a small star in the centerof your graphic, place it in place with mover tool. Merge all of these layers visible. Right click on this layer and name it petals. Duplicate the merged layer and go image, rotate 45 either direction. Close one of these layers by clicking glasses in layer palette, now open one of the redline layers making it active and merge visible. Close this layer by clicking the glasses on layer palette open other redline layer making it active, click glasses on petals layer, layers, merge, visible. Leave bottom layer closed, go to file, save, and save to a folder where you can find it and name it. Open animation shop, click the icon below the word "file", use defaults untile you get to the "add image" screen, click on add image, find the folder and image you saved, click on it, click next, click finish. Now hold the shift key and click on the 2nd frame activating both frames. Go to "animation", frame, properties, chooe 1, ok. Click on the 2nd icon from the right at top of animation shop and you will see your animation. If you are happy with the way it turns, go to file, save as, give it a name, find folder you want to save it in, click save. Since we are only using 3 colors, move slider on left all the way to bottom, click next, next, if it looks ok, click next, finish. If you were't happy with quality of your animation, go back and move slider up. Farther down the slider is, smaller the animation is but more compressed so quality could suffer. If you are submitting to seniors_using_psp, please use the smallest compression, you can save a less compressed copy for your own use. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
