Jim hesitated as he stood in front of Captain Smollet’s cabin.He wanted to know more about Harmony but he didn’t know if it was his place to ask.After taking a few deep breaths he knocked on the door.It was opened by mr Arrow.

"May I help you?" the blue eagle asked.

"Yes,I wish to speak to Captain Smollett" Jim said.

"Captain Smollett is very busy,you will have to come back some other time" mr Arrow said.

He went to close the door but Captain Smollett came to the door.

"It’s alright mr Arrow,he can come in" he said.

"Very well Captain" mr Arrow said,throwing Jim a suspicious glance.

Jim stepped into the cabin and stood in front of Captain Smollett.The Captain of the Hispanola sat down.

"Please take a seat Jim" Captain Smollett offered.

"Thank you sir" Jim said,taking a seat.

"What is it you wanted to see me about Jim?" the frog captain asked.

"Harmony" Jim said,softly blushing.

"Has something occurred that I should know about?.Have the two of you been in some kind of fight?" captain asked.

"Oh no sir" Jim said quickly.

"I see.Would I be correct to assume that this interest in Harmony is based on a crush?" Captain asked.

Jim blushed again and nodded.Captain Smollett smiled and asked:

"How may I help you Jim?"

"I would like to know more about her sir" Jim said.

"You have come to the right person" Captain Abraham Smollett said.

Captain Smollett told Jim all about Harmony and Jim listened in awe.Jim knew that there was something special about her but what he heard was more than he ever could have guessed.At that very minute Gonzo and Rizzo were sitting below deck,inside a barrel eating apples.

"I think Jim likes Harmony" Gonzo suddenly said.

"Of course Jim likes Harmony,I like her too" Rizzo said.

"Well so do I but that’s not what I mean.I think Jim has a crush on Harmony" Gonzo half whispered.

"And that is based on what?" Rizzo asked,looking at Gonzo.

"You mean to tell me you haven’t noticed the vacant look Jim’s had on his face for the past week?.The way he stares into the distance all the time.Not to mention the fact that he volunteered to work in the kitchen despite of his many chores" Gonzo said.

"That still doesn’t prove anything.Those things don’t have to have anything to do with Harmony" Rizzo argued.

"Then how do you explain the way Jim cringes everytime he hears Harmony’s name?" Gonzo asked.

"Maybe they were in a painful fight,you know how sensitive Jim can get" Rizzo countered.

"I don’t know,I still say there’s more to it than that.Jim doesn’t blush everytime he sees Harmony for nothing"

"Well…" Rizzo started.

Then Harmony appeared above the barrels.Rizzo and Gonzo screamed.

"Hey you guys" Harmony said cheerfully.

"Harmony,you scared us.Climb in,share an apple with us" Gonzo offered.

"I can’t,I’m really busy in the kitchen.I actually came to get some of those apples.Me and Long John are gonna make a massive applepie" Harmony said with a smile.

"Are you kidding me?.Here take them all" Rizzo said eagerly.

Gonzo and Rizzo handed Harmony the apples and she put them all in her basket.Harmony smiled as her Harmony pendant softly made music.

"So what were you guys talking about?" Harmony asked.

"Oh eh…Gonzo here was just telling me a joke" Rizzo lied.

"Eh…yeah a very funny one" Gonzo added.

"Really?.Well what with there not being a whole lot to laugh about on this ship I could certainly do with a joke" Harmony said.

"Oh,it’s rather a long one" Gonzo quickly said.

"That’s okay,I have a minute" Harmony said.

"It’s dirty too" Gonzo whispered,blushing a little.

"I’m a big girl,I think I can handle it" Harmony said,smiling.

And so Gonzo told the joke and he did a good job.Harmony and Rizzo laughed.

"That was a good one Gonzo" Harmony complimented.

"Thanks" Gonzo said.

"You’re welcome.I better bring these apples to the kitchen cause it’s like Long John said : Pies don’t bake themselves, besides he’s gonna be miffed if I don’t get in the kitchen on time.Thanks for the joke Gonzo" Harmony said.

"You’re welcome" Gonzo said.

"Take care you two,bye Gonzo,bye Rizzo" Harmony said,as she walked up the stairs with the apples.

"Bye Harmony" Rizzo called.

"Bye" Gonzo said.

Harmony left with the apples and Gonzo and Rizzo sighed.

"That was a close shave" Rizzo commented.

"Yeah but I think we got away with it" Gonzo said.

Harmony walked up the ladder,right by the very annoying pirats on the ship.Always staring and sometime even groping.She couldn’t stand it,she knew she was relatively safe around Long John but still…She also passed Squire Trelawny,dr Livesley and Beaker.She liked Squire and dr Livesley and Beaker was just plain cute.

"Hey fellows" she said with a bright smile.

"Ah,Harmony,so good to see you.Isn’t that right mr Bimbo?" Squire Trelawny asked.

He put his finger near his ear and said:

"Mr Bimbo says you look pretty today"

Harmony laughed and said:

"Well thank mr Bimbo for that compliment.Hi dr Livesley,hi Beaker"

Harmony scratched Beaker under his chin.Beaker giggled and dr Livesley bowed.

"And good day to you Harmony"

Harmony smiled as she talked to them for a little while longer.Long John was watching her from inside the kitchen.

"Soon my pretty Harmony,soon" he whispered.

Harmony went back to the kitchen and after apologizing to Long John for being late,they made a huge applepie.
