A/N : I realize that this chapter is very inconsistent,especially considering the rest of the story and I’m sorry about that,I hope you’ll overlook it.
Harmony winced as she felt somebody’s hand on her leg,she was blindfolded and tied and she couldn’t see who it was but she could guess.Calico Jerry smiled as he inhaled her scent.Harmony was sitting on a big stone with Calico Jerry right next to her while the other pirates were throwing Jim around.
Once the pirates were done playing around,Jim was held tightly by Black Eyed Pea.Harmony was pushed towards them and she stood next to Jim,while Calico Jerry held her.Long John removed the blindfolds and smiled at them.Harmony and Jim both scowled at the same time.
"Smile with me kid’s,it’s all in good fun" Long John said.
At first Harmony and Jim weren’t too worried,they were convinced that Captain Smollett and the others would rescue them until they heard the two shots that confirmed that the Hispanôla had been taken by the pirates and Long John was the new Captain.
Jim was forced to give his compass to Long John and the following day Jim and Harmony were forced to go with them.Harmony hadn’t slept comfortably at all,she had stayed as close to Jim as she could but she had seen Calico Jerry leering at her and she had been too afraid that he might try something to sleep much.

Harmony and Jim were walking ahead of the pirates and just behind Long John,Clueless Morgan,Mad Monty and Polly.Jim had the map in his hands and he was forced to tell the pirates where to go.
Harmony stumbled when Calico Jerry pushed her forward.The pirates behind her laughed and Jim,who was walking next to Harmony shot Calico Jerry a dirty look.His eyes softened when he looked at Harmony and she smiled briefly.
When they arrived at the cave where the treasure was supposedly buried the pirates were reluctant to go in out of fear of Captain Flint’s ghost.Long John wasn’t scared so he cut the bushes in front of the cave away with his sword and they all fell silent as they went in.The treasure chests were standing in a big hole.
"There’s the treasure" Polly cried "And we wont even have to dig anymore"
But Long John sensed trouble and reached for his guns.Suddenly Harmony broke away from the pirates and she leaped into the hole.She pushed Polly and Monty away and started digging with her hands.The pirates looked on in astonishment and Polly turned to Long John.
"Has she lost it?" Polly asked.
Long John didn’t answer,he knew what she was doing.She was trying to find out if the rumours were true, the rumours about her mother being killed and buried in a box underneath the treasure.She had to know. Jim looked on in sadness,he had heard the rumours amongst the pirates and he dreaded to think what it would do to Harmony if they turned out to be true.
After about a minute Harmony stopped digging and she let out a cry,she had found what she was looking for.She didn’t dare to open the box,she knew what was inside.She started sobbing uncontrolably when she realized that the rumours were true,her mother was dead.
"What’s in the box?" Clueless Morgan asked,completely bewildered.
"My…mother" Harmony choked out.
Some of the pirates gasped,the others were indifferent.There was a short silence.
"Forget about that now,what about the treasure?" one of the pirates called out.
The other pirates loudly agreed and Harmony turned around in fury.
"How dare you?" Harmony yelled "You want your treasure?"
The pirates nodded.
"Here’s your stinking treasure" Harmony cried out as she kicked one of the chests open.
The pirates fell completely silent when they found that the chest was empty.Harmony quickly let Jim help her out of the hole as the pirates opened the other chests.The others were empty too.
"There is no treasure" Polly cried "You lead us here for nothing and now we’ll be trialed for mutiny"
"Yeah" Mad Monty agreed "I say,get him"
Long John pulled both his guns out as Harmony and Jim ran away.They ran as fast as they could,holding eachother’s hand and didn’t stop until they were sure they were relatively safe.Harmony cried on Jim’s shoulder over the discovery of her mother’s death and Jim soothed her.
Long John,in the mean time,fired both his guns but was captured shortly after.He was given the black spot and only through the superstition of the other pirates was he able to get out of the situation alive.He convinced them to let him go and they went back to searching for the treasure.

Rizzo and Gonzo were in big trouble.They were tied up and about to be sacrificed to Boom-Shakalakal (a.k.a Benjamina Gunn) who was currently somewhere talking things out with Captain Abraham Smollett. Rizzo was freaking out when suddenly his bonds were cut loose.
"I’m loose,I’ve been cut loose" Rizzo cried.
"Hey guys" Jim said with a smile.
"Jim,you’re safe,we were worried sick" Gonzo said.
"I’m fine Gonzo,where’s Captain Smollett?" Jim asked.
"He was taken away,where’s Harmony?" Gonzo asked.
"She’s waiting for us not far from here" Jim said.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Rizzo said.
Jim,Gonzo and Rizzo met up with Harmony again and told her of what happened to Captain Smollett.
"Well then it’s settled,you go see if there’s any way for you to get back onto the ship,I’ll go look for the Captain" Harmony said.
"Are you sure?.Don’t you think I should come with you?" Jim asked.
"I’ll be fine,you go with Rizzo and Gonzo" Harmony said.
"But…" Jim said but Harmony placed a gentle hand over his mouth.
"No buts" Harmony said,before turning around and walking off.
Jim,Gonzo and Rizzo did as they were told,even though Jim wasn’t happy about it,and Harmony searched for Captain Smollett.

Captain Smollett and Benjamina Smollett were in conversation about their past.
"Benjamina,I’m sorry" Captain Smollett said.
"Sorry?.Sorry doesn’t cut it,you left me standing at the altar" Benjamina said,yelling the last word.
"Well…what do I have to do to make it up to you?" Captain Smollett asked.
"You can’t make up for it,you abandoned me" Benjamina said.
"I’m here now,fate brought us together…well actually pirates and a treasure brought us together but…"
"Don’t talk to me about pirates.After you left I hooked up with this Bernie Flint guy…" Benjamina said.
"You and Captain Flint?" Captain Smollett asked,hurt evident in his voice.
"Well,he was a pirate,I was a lady,you know the story.Smolly,he marooned me,meeee…" Benjamina said, bursting into tears.
"Oh Benjamina,I’m sorry,I…" Captain Smollett said but before he could say anything else he heard a familiar voice.
"Captain Smollett" Harmony said.
Smollett and Benjamina looked at Harmony.
"Harmony" Captain Smollett.
"Who’s Harmony?" Benjamina asked,jealousy evident in her voice.
"I’m Harmony,who are you?" Harmony asked.
"I don’t see how that’s any of your business" Benjamina said,haughtily.
"Harmony,this is Benjamina Gunn" Captain Smollett said.
"The pig-lady in the picture?" Harmony asked.
Captain Smollett nodded and turned to Benjamina.
"Benjamina,this is Harmony Flint" Captain Smollett said.
"Flint?.Did you say Flint?.As in relation to Bernie Flint?" Benjamina asked.
Harmony nodded and found herself at the receiving end of a punch to the stomach courtesy of Benjamina. Harmony went to hit Benjamina but someone grabbed her arm and pulled her back.Captain Smollett and Benjamina gasped when they saw Long John and his group of pirates standing there.Harmony was being held by Black Eyed Pea while struggling to get away.The pirates laughed at her predicament.
"Let go of me" Harmony cried.
"Calm down dear Harmony,if I get what I want you’ll be released soon enough" Long John said.
Long John turned back to Smollett and Benjamina.
"Good day Capt’n,hello Benjamina" Long John said "This seems to be your day for renewing old… acquintances"
The pirates laughed again.
"Why hello,Looong John" Benjamina said.
"Him to?" Captain Smollett asked.
"Floozy" Harmony said to Benjamina.
Benjamina went to attack Harmony only to be met by Long John’s gun.
"I’m not a patient man,Benjamina.Where’s the treasure?" Long John asked.
"There is no treasure" Benjamina said.
"No?.Then where did you get that golden necklace?.The one made of Spanish Dubloons" Long John said.
"Off one of her lovers no doubt" Harmony muttered.
Long John turned around and aimed the gun at Harmony.
"Please don’t waste my time with your comments lass,you don’t want me to get angry" Long John said to Harmony.
"Don’t aim that gun at her" Captain Smollett said.
Long John turned to Captain Smollett and Benjamina and put the gun under Smollett’s chin.
"Or at me" Captain Smollett added nervously.
"Now I’ll ask you again,where’s the treasure?" Long John asked.
Suddenly Benjamina noticed her pig army standing at the top of the hill.
"I might not tell you" Benjamina said.
Long John cocked his gun and chuckled.
"Don’t play with me lass,I already said I’m not a patient man" Long John said before almost being hit by an arrow.
"Give up now" Spa’am said "Or be slaughtered like dogs"
Long John fired at Spa’am and shot his hat feathers off.
"Me see you have boom boom sticks" Spa’am said "bye bye"
The pig army ran out and left Smollett,Benjamina and Harmony to fend for themselves.Benjamina still wouldn’t tell Long John where the treasure was so Long John hung Smollett upside down over a cliff. Benjamina finally gave in and told him.
Long John laughed and pushed Benjamina off the cliff.Harmony elbowed Black-Eyed Pea in the stomach and ran to Benjamina.She grabbed Benjamina’s hand and managed to grab hold of the edge of the cliff to prevent them both from falling in.So there they were hanging above the cliff,Harmony clutching the edge and Benjamina clutching Harmony’s hand as Smollett helplessly watched on from where he was hanging.
"I believe this is what they call killing two birds with one stone" Long John said.
They all laughed while Harmony was beginning to lose her grip.
"Two birds with one stone…I don’t get it" Clueless Morgan said.
"Amazing how he keeps his sense of humor at all times" Benjamina commented.
Harmony laughed as she began to slip.She had to put her nails into the rock to be able to hold on.She was exhausted by the effort but she knew she had to hold on.
"Such a pitty though,there were some things I had wanted to…discuss with you,my little redhead"
Long John pulled out his sword as Harmony began to swing Benjamina to the right and dropped her into the trees below them.Benjamina landed safely in the trees but Harmony was still in trouble,she couldn’t swing herself to the right and there was nothing but rocks below her.She used her other hand to clutch the edge as well but she didn’t have much strength left.
"Goodbye Harmony,say hi to your daddy Flinty for me" Long John said as Harmony slipped.
She fell down towards the hard rock as Long John turned away but she didn’t land on the rocks.Jim,Gonzo and Rizzo had retained the ship with mr Arrow’s help and had sailed to the cliff side.Harmony fell into the net that was attached to the side of the ship,Captain Smollett was caught in the net as well when the rope he was attached to broke and he came crashing down and Benjamina was retrieved from the trees.
Before the group set about to capture Long John and his pirates Benjamina had some choice words for Harmony for dropping her into the trees and after alot of complaining she thanked Harmony as well.
