French-Vanila Labradors is Located in Southern Oregon. We raise quality Labradors for show and family pets. We are a small kennel, located in the beautiful Northwest. Where the peoples desire to hunt and own hunting dogs goes back to the pioneer days.

Although both my dogs and my puppies show the instinct to hunt. I prefer to limit my kids hunting to tennis balls. My Labradors though avid retrievers are as happy on the couch as in the field. We bread for the true type Labrador. Temperament and personality are as important as conformation.

Our goal here at French-Vanila, is to design the perfect Labrador Retriever, a dog that will be as at home in the field or the ring. Or just as your family companion. We breed a litter about every two - three years. We like to have our puppies reserved in advance, but the new family is still subject to our approval. All our puppies are vet checked and potty training is started at seven weeks. We teach clap and come starting at four weeks and get the puppies familiar with weekly grooming starting at two weeks old. Every puppy is tagged and tracked from birth. We use this as a means to gage personality and disposition for future homes. and in evaluating show potential. Every French-Vanila puppy carries a full lifetime guarantee. At French-Vanila a puppy is a lifetime commitment.

As Breeders, we have a huge responsibility and we DO NOT take our job lightly. We do intensive screening and ask all new families to send updates and pictures at least once a year.

As with any breed you are considering please do your homework and ask QUESTIONS! We are always happy to answer any questions you may have on the Labrador. We are also glad to help you decide what breed is, right for you. At French-Vanila there are no dumb questions, only unasked ones..
