A greatly proven family dog since the 1500`s the Dachshund has recently evolved into one of America`s number one breed of dog. The Dachshund has two main body types the standard and miniature. The standard dachshunds weight is between fiveteen and thirty-two pounds at twelve months old.The miniature which is our specialty, weigh`s between seven and eleven pounds at twelve months old. Our dachshunds are registered with A.K.C. and home raised. The Dachshunds coat varies from a higher maintenance long hair to a smooth.We specialize in the low maintenance miniature smooth(short-hair)dachshunds.
