God’s Hug I felt God hugging me today When the sun fell on my skin While all around me the wind blew softly Chilling me from within   My eyes were taken off my trials My heart was filled with joy The cold, hard world disappeared With the warmth of His loving touch I saw His eyes twinkle in the dew As the earth welcomed His embrace He met me where I halted fast And gave me a push of grace   I came to rejoice in an eternal Love That dispels darkness and gloom He came to love me and that, He did His hug is all I need
