| The Editor of Kadambini, Mr Rajinder Awasthi, told a press conference , that objective of the holding the competition was to create literary atmosphere and literary awareness among the people of the region. He claimed that some of the award-winners in the earlier contests had establised themselves in the literary sphere. To popularise Hindi literature, over 300 "Kadambini clubs" had been established in different parts of the country, including South India, he added. |

| KADAMBINI CLUB SINGRAULI WAS FORMED ON 21ST DECEMBER 1995 with its co-founder Sri Shiv Sagar and convenor Sri Anil Notwani. At starting there was 15 members and now 26. The club published "AANGAN KI DHOOP" - a kavya sankalan. The club successfully organised 15 kavi goshthis, 4 kavi sammelans, 3 essay competitions and literary tours. |
