The movie is about a person suffering from short-term memory loss, who is trying to find his girlfriend's killer. He can remember anything for 15min only. It is not just the original Tamil film, Ghajini, that Aamir found interesting but also the original actress Asin who he has signed for his remake. With Jiah Khan as the second leading lady in this film, this movie looks interesting.
Memento is the Hollywood film that Ghajini is believed to have been remade from, but Aamir strongly negates and says it is a genuine case of inspired form. Also, Aamir has a new young look in this film (which is now a norm with his very new film).

The Story
Sanjay Ramasamy, a business tycoon, suffers memory loss after being hit on the head while trying to prevent the murder of his girlfriend. Owing to the severe injury, his memory lasts only as long as 15 minutes, leading him to forget events and incidents in the past. In a bid to keep his memory alive, he constantly tattoos notes on himself and takes pictures to help him remember. His story in unravelled by a police officer, and piques the interest of a medical student called Chitra, who is looking for a patient with an �interesting� record for her college project. With Chitra�s help, Sanjay then sets out on a mission of revenge to bring his lover�s murderers to justice.
