| Ballard assigned to Play with Barons | |||||||||||
| (March 4, 2006)--In what was an interesting move Saturday when the San Jose Sharks assigned defenceman Keith Ballard to start the season playing for the Barons of the AHL. This move allows him to develop more during the practise season until his rating comes out for the 1st ever offical PHL season where he will play a significant role on the blue line. However, if an injury happens to occur during the practise season you could see him back up with the big club. | |||||||||||
