   interested in things artistic, musical and cosmic I believe in the oneness in all creation.. I don't subsribe to organized religions; I respect all spiritualities, however, and enjoy metaphysical studies. I live in the beautiful Fingerlakes region in New York State, near Canandaigua Lake. Among my many interests are: learning about our Irish and Native American ancestry, cartooning, oil painting, hand crafting jewelry from crystals and semi-precious stones, leather crafts and beading. I have loved music all my life, I find great joy in all sorts of acoustic, harmonious, and instrumental types of music, along with some old faves in the progressive rock department; and I am learning to play the hammered dulcimer. One of the greatest joys of my life was learning Irish stepdancing, which brought me the blessing of a visit to Ireland and although I no longer dance, I take every opportunity to enjoy it as a spectator.  There is such beauty in dance from so many places, and we are very fortunate to have access to many forms of dance here. Irish Step and Native American Fancy dancing are, to me, the most profoundly beautiful. May these incredible art forms never, ever, be lost.  I appreciate people who are kind but with a slightly warped sense of humor ok... a terribly warped sense of humor... I love a good laugh! Favorite Books: anything by Alice Bailey, Mary Summer Rain, James Redfield, HP Blavatsky, Edgar Cayce, Edward Gorey Favorite Movies: all-time faves are "To Kill a Mockingbird," Young Frankenstein," "Blazing Saddles" "In the Name of the Father" and "Thunderheart" (Graham Greene IS the ultimate in "cool" *G*) Favorite Music: anything by Clannad/Máire Brennan, world's finest (IMHO) dulcimer player Malcolm Dalglish, Alex DeGrassi, Robert Mirabal, Joanne Shenandoah, George Winston, Grateful Dead, early Genesis, Michael Cretu/Enigma, Suzanne Cianni, Michael Hedges, John McCutcheon, Will Ackerman, Chieftains, Wolfstone, Battlefield Band, Capercaille, Altan, Planxty, DeDannan, Moody Blues, Trapezoid, two great local bands: the Dady Brothers, and a wonderful acapella group from the University of Rochester called Vocal Point... the list goes on and on and...
