St. Anthony Beat the Heat

Hi.  I'm Captain Donald Powell and the St. Anthony Beat the Heat car is mine.  This year started out with great hope.  I did very well last year, being the undefeated Idaho Police Champion.  With the closing of the track in Pocatello, I knew I wouldn't be racing as much.  The first race I went to in Boise, I had problems with the carbs, loosing some seals.  Even with those problems, I had the fastest run that I have ever had ( a 12.01 at 115 mph).  So, after fixing the carbs, I went to Wisconsin to a Police race.  However, the bad luck bug followed me there.  On the third run, the rear end busted and that was that.  The car is still being fixed, with some engine problems being found and worked on now.  I guess there is always next year.
