The City of St. Anthony is the county seat for Fremont County and home of the South Fremont Cougars (GO COUGARS!!). The city is 4950 feet above sea level, and our population is 3010. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River runs right through the middle of town, so some of the BEST fishing in the state is right here in town. There is a beautiful city park in the middle of town where people can rest, have a picnic or fish. In this park are several monuments to veterans. In fact, the patch on the first page is modeled after one of the monuments (you can see a picture of the park and statue on next page). The friday before fishing season starts, the free fishermans breakfast is held. During the summer, you are welcomed into town by some colorful flower beds. During the winter, chances are it might be snow banks welcoming you. Please come and visit our city!!! You are always welcome! |
