And now below are our Arkansas Fire Academy Instructors

Top left is our resident instructor from Dallas Valley Fire Department, Ross Foster. Ross taught all of the make up classes and is now qualified to teach the entire Rough Terrain and Mountain Rescue class. We are very happy to have an instructor here with the qualifications to teach this class.
Top right is Brian Tatum who was here to teach every phase of the class and did a wonderful job. We couldn't have asked for a better instuctor, friend, or team member. Brian works a lot of hours at his regular job and yet he still gave up weekends he could have spent at home with his family to teach this class and for that we are very thankful to him and to his wife and family for letting him do it.
Bottom left is Glen Crymes. Glen was with us on the second and third phase of the class and proved to be a really good instuctor who was quick to answer any questions we had and showed a lot of patients when the questions were--well lets just say less than intelligent at times and not well though out.
Bottom right is Mike Armstrong. Mike was with us only on the last phase but we learned to really like him in the short time we were with him. Again, a really good instructor and an asset to the entire fire and rescue service. Thanks to all four of these guys as well as Director Lee Threadgill who was with us on the first phase and who, in our opinion, set the standard for instructors in this field.

We are honored to call these talented, dedicated men our friends and fellow team members.
                                                                Thanks again guys,
                                                                            The Polk County SAR Team
And finally------
We the SAR Team members would like to thank James Reeves the Polk County OEM Director for all of his hard work. James is always there when we need him. He takes his job very seriously, and has done more for the emergency response teams, fire departments, and first responders in Polk County than anyone has in a long time. Good job James, we are fortunate to have you and you are an asset to the entire County. Keep up the good work and although we sometimes forget to say it, we really appreciate you and the job you are doing.
We would also like to thanks Ronnie Falls, who is actually the Polk County Search and Rescue Team Opperations Chief, for all of his hard work in helping put this thing together. Ronnie also takes his job very seriously and has put a lot of hard work into the Search and Rescue Team. Thanks Ronnie.
And we would like to thank Ross Foster again for putting in so much time and energy into the team, and the community. Ross works hard to learn new stuff so he can train the rest of us and although we sometimes forget to tell him we appreciate it a lot. Thanks Ross.
Thanks as well to Sheriff Mike Oglesby for his support, for being a friend to all of us, and for doing a really good job. Mike really cares about the folks in Polk County loves every one of them and it really hurts him when something bad happens to one of the folks under his watch, it's just the way he is. So from the entire Polk County SAR Team, once again our thanks and we look forward to working with everyone and serving the community in the best way we can.
See ya' on the bluff.
