Sarah Llewellyn-Shore is a northern actress originally from Doncaster in South Yorkshire, who is now based in North London. She graduated from the Three Year BA in Performance (Acting Option) at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in June 2007 and since then has been working professionally in the industry.
She began her love for the profession from the early age of 6 when she pressurised her mother to take her to acting classes and from there took her grades in LAMDA examinations and achieved many first place prizes at local drama festivals. She took a summer course at Oxford School of Drama and a foundation course at London's NW5 Theatre School before beginning her 3 year adventure at the prestigious Mountview Academy.
Since graduation, Sarah has played several lead roles including the title roles in Mary Shelley Goes To Hollywood (Christchurch Theatre) and Cinderella (Southern Counties Tour). Her other theatre credits include The American Clock (New Players Theatre), Emma and Happy Families (The Albany, Deptford) and she was a part of The 24 Hour Plays: Red Bull Sessions in association with Old Vic New Voices at the Tabard Theatre. She has also worked at The Royal Court, workshopping a new play, Collapsing Colonies, the final instalment of Kenny Emson's Town and Countryside trilogy. Her film credits include the lead role of 'Sarah' in The Comic Book, a short for Shingadia Productions. Sarah also played 'Tabs' in a radio production of Puss In Boots produced by Tamsin Collinson.
Last summer, Sarah appeared in Pygmalion at The Old Vic directed by Sir Peter Hall performing alongside a cast including Michelle Dockery, Tim Pigott-Smith, Tony Haygarth and Una Stubbs.
Currently, Sarah is appearing with Theatre Delicatessen, playing Perdita and Mamillius in their production of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale.
