To tell you the truth, I don't do abdominal exercises regularly. I'd like to start doing them more,
especially Pilates. I've tried Kathy Smith's Pilates video and I've tried Brooke Siler's
The
         Pilates Body
, which is a great book. I'd like to get motivated to do ab work more because that's
one of the places I'd like to improve the most!

Hello Everyone! I'm new to webpage making, so please bear with me. This site will mostly be about  exercise/nutrition, but later I will add in other interests, such as cats and cat pictures, favorite books and tv shows, and hobbies.

I graduated from college last year, am 23, and live on the East Coast in Virginia. I'm an outdoorsy person, and I've had many outdoor jobs. Right now I'm assisting in a research project on the Chesapeake Bay, sampling fish for lesions. Other jobs I've had involve conserving an endangered species, and wildlife habitat research.

Hope this page can be of use to someone out there trying to get in shape or lose a few pounds! I lost 15 pounds last year in 4 months (1 lb./week). My biggest motivation was getting the weight off before graduation, and I'm thrilled to say I did it. I'm still trying to get in better shape though, and have recently put more time into strength exercises.

A great site for workouts, expert advice and articles, different diets, and advice on losing weight.
