Planet Research

Research your assigned planet.  Jot down notes in your journal that include answers to the following:

The name of your planet

It's rotational period (how long is a
day on your planet)

It's revolution period (how long is a
year on your planet)

How many natural sattelites (moons) does your planet have?

At least
five interesting facts about your planet

Then, take your facts and write a
paragraph that can teach someone about your planet.  Include an introductory sentence and a conclusion sentence.  We will write a final copy, illustrate, and share at a later date.
(Remember, this is a non-fiction article you are writing to teach someone something.)
