| Splash! Boom! “Mom, what is that red and purple spot on the rocks?” I don’t see anything she said. I wanted a closer look. So I got the stuff I needed and went deeper and deeper. I looked under. There was a huge fishtail. I looked on top of the water. There was a person face. I said “Hi, don’t be afraid”, but she swam away! It was a perfect day at the beach and just then I saw something in the water. What was it? It had a really big tail. It was splashing in the water. I wanted to go see what it was but it was too far out. Boom! A big splash on the sea bank. Am I seeing thins? A green tail…it’s staying over there. It’s gone! Where is it? There it is. I swam to it. It was a mermaid. It was a perfect day to go to the beach. When we got there I saw a mermaid. I was bored so we went to the big waves to find hermit crabs. Then we did not want to find hermit crabs so we did flips. Thud! A wave hit me hard but the wave was too big to be natural. From the corner of my eye I saw what looked like a tail splashing in and out of the water. Am I seeing things? I was bored walking on the beach one day when I saw a strange sight! I got closer and closer. I trhought it was a mermaid but I saw a fish. It's a mermaid. It's a mermaid! Splash! What is that I said to myself? It was a big thing, but I could not see it. It came closer. I got scared. Then it was right in front of me. It turned out it was a mermaid. I couldn't believe it! With one flick of a tail it dove into the water. It was a beautiful mermaid, nobody would believe this. I tried to swim up to it but it just swam away where it was too deep for me to swim. I went all the way back to the shore to get my float. |
