Rob Hingley formed The Toasters in the early 1980's and has remained in the band ever since, despite the somewhat rotating lineup. The mission of The Toasters was to bring their 2- tone influenced ska to the masses and they succeeded. After becoming an extremely successful ska pioneer Rob Hingley opened one of the nations first independent all ska label, Moon Ska Records. Unfortunately, as of December 17, 2000 Moon Ska Records officially closed its doors. :(
