THE TWO GROUPS MEET:

"Flight 14 from Clevland Ohio now landing at Gate 13," the loudspeaker blares. A few moments later people begin to pour out of the plane, through the tunnel and into the terminal. Amidst the crowd are three representatives of the After Midnight paper dragging their carry on luggage, prominent female scientist Dr. Hu (Played by Erik.) Jimmy Raven, freelance columnist garbed in trenchcoat and carrying a rake (Played by Max) and a common cameraman. (Played by Aaron.)

Waiting for their arrival are Grace Clemence, widow of one of the paper's ace reporters and major stockholder in Gnatision Corp. (Played by Justin, a computer repairman from the office who also doubles sometimes as hired muscle. (Played by Kevin.) And another man who works in the research at the media library for the paper. (Played by Mark.)

OOC: Well, you're all together now. Six people, two teams, one objective. Each group has information the other might not. Each group also has some notable names from the paper and some nondescript grunts as well (Evidenced by the fact some people's names were prominently displayed while others were just recognized as faces they'd seen around the office back at Clevland.) So, get to know each other. Put in some character descriptions if you want. Exchange info, backstab, start a riot, who knows what can happen? The game is afoot.

Jimmy Raven, recognizing a company bigwig, approaches Grace. He bows in a sweeping manor, and makes an effort to kiss her hand. "What a pleasure it is to see you again, Grace. I only wish it could have been in better circumstances. I was devastated when I heard about your husband. How are you holding up?"

Grace frowns for a moment in response to the mention of her husband's death. "Must you bring up such a dreadful subject? I would prefer not to talk about poor Ronald again. Ever."

"My apologies. I simply wanted to make sure the cameraman did not embarass you both with improper inquiries on the subject. He's rather callous from what I've seen," Jimmy Raven replies.

"Hmm, the callous type you say. Perhaps I can find a way to teach him some ettiquette."

Strolling up to the prominent Dr. the computer repairman offers to shakehands and says "Hello Dr. My name is Karl Groober. I have heard a couple things about you. It'll be good to work with you."

Dr. Hu shakes Karl's hand and with a smile says, "Pleasure to meetyou Mister Groober. I hope all that you've heard about me is good. What brings a computer techie to London?"

"Do we have any transportation set up? Well regardless I should go collect my gear. I don't suppose someone could give me a hand?"

Raven heads off towards the baggage check area. He spares a quick look behind to see if anyone is following him.

'Something tells me that I was not brougt for my computer knowledge, but rather for my, ahh, shall we say physical prowess? Speaking of which, I shall go and be of assistance to Mr. Raven.'

Karl then gives a brief smile and strolls off in the direction of Raven.

MR Beowulf also strolls behind raven to pick up his bags, looking for human interest stories to photo along the way

Grace is ready to go to work. "Alright team, unless anybody has a better idea, lets head over to that psychic."

Karl pauses in midstride, and turns towards Grace, a look of confusement on his face.

Raven takes a look around. His face shifts into an irked expression. "This is the longest damned walk for luggage I've ever had to take. So uh...Karl. Besides the occassional computer repair, what else do you like to do?"

Before Karl has a chance to respond the stalwart group of newshounds find themselves at the fully rotational, stainless steel wonder of human technology that is the Luggage Area.

BAM! Dr. Hu's luggage falls down from the chute above. Their exterior reveals shoddy handling and care.

KABAM! Jimmy Raven's suitcase hits the steel.

BAM! BIMMITY BAM! Jack Beowulf, mild mannered cameraman, takes a picture of his packaged belongings as they too fall the six feet from the chute onto the rotational platforms.

"Hey yo Ms. Clemence!" a chubby, scuzzy looking fellow yells out from near the front entrance. He runs over to the assembled group. "Gotta note with a twenty from some broad by the name of Appleton, said I'm supposed to pick up some news team matching youse descriptions and drive them wherever they want. I'm paid for about a half hour but anything after that and it'll cost ya. Name's Eddie," he finishes and extends his hand. "Nice Guy Eddie."
