"I'm not the one who broke you, I'm not the one you should fear.."

*************************

"Oh come now minister! I haven't been that bad of a boy!" A tall man dressed in a tattered rusty red robe, the color of dried blood, pleaded a casual smirk passing his face. He had jet black hair and startling bright blue eyes, the color of the sky on a clear day. His face looked to be human and his arms and chest as far as anyone could see, but his two legs where definitely not. Neither where the pair of red membrane demon like wings that stuck out form his back, or the long red spaded tail. He was 2/3 red demon, an odd coincidence that granted him immortally. He looked very strong, and that he was, and he knew it too. He held himself in a way that stated his superiority to the man, and mankind itself. He gazed upon them as if they where inferior beings in his existence, weak, unneeded, there for his own enjoyment and pleasure. He viewed them like a man might view a primate, unintelligent and funny to look at.

The man he had addressed as 'minister' glared up at him from where he stood, he was short and somewhat stocky, but nevertheless he was a wise man, wiser than this 2/3 demon knew. "Oh yes you have, you have blown up 4 of our command bases in the last 24 hours! This is unacceptable, we will find evidence this time! Mark my words you will be punished!" The short stocky man called back in a harsh and raspy voice.

"Ha!" the 2/3 demon spat his proud strong voice booming in the still non-moving air of early dawn. "You make assumptions before you even know who blew up those four building 'Redge'." He spat emphasizing the last word as if it tasted foul in his mouth. "I can assure you that I was no where near those building when they blew.."

The minister who was simply called Redge, stared at the proud tall man with complete loath and hating. "We will get you one day oh High Lord Chaos, we will bring you down where you stand and make you grovel at our feet for mercy. The ministry will have it's revenge."

The 2/3 half demon who went by the name of Chaos threw his head back and laughed whole heartedly at the prime minister of the ministry, 'The ministry' as it was simply called, is a group of highly skilled people who manage all magic-type folk who live on the face of Rayllom. "The day I fall before someone's feet....get real Redge..." Chaos cackled at the thought of him, the High Lord of the Dark Arts falling at anyone's feet. He watched the minister with a supreme satisfaction fumbling for words and turning red in the face. Chaos turned and walked out of the ministry waving his tail back and forth in an unmistakable taunt. He walked through the long darkened hallways grinning at a few people here and there, just to be rude. After all they where all staring at him like he was some sort of monster, and sometimes he was, but somewhere deep inside his blackened heart there was a good person, somewhere..

He turned a sharp corner and walked down a long brightly lit hallway that looked like something strait from ER. No he wasn't in a hospital, but something awfully close, this was the investigations room at the ministry where all the records for pervious 'misuses and mayhap of magic' where kept. He walked all to the end of the long clean hallway and stopped in front of an older looking door. It was dark brown and stuck out like a sore thumb in the perfect white and clean looking hallway, but the most out of place thing on this ancient looking door, was the high-tech Rayllomian lock just to it's right.

Chaos looked behind to him, to make sure no one was there and muttered a few words of gibberish and laid one clawed hand on the high-tech lock. A light bulb in the corner flashed green and made a soft 'ding' as the door locked clicked, he was in. "Ha! Redge you and our cheapo security.." He muttered to no one unparticular and slide quietly into the room, closing the door behind him with a soft clink.

He turned to see someone already there, a medium sized blonde woman who looked around the age of 18 with dark brown eyes and a very shapely build. She was staring down some papers piled on her desk and glanced up at him when he walked into the room, her brownish colored eyes filling with concern. "What took you so long? I've been waiting for twenty minutes!" She said in a voice that was smoother than velvet. She was definitely a human, for there was nothing about her that was out of the ordinary, besides the fact she was wearing very very little clothing. She picked up an old tattered sheet of paper and waved it in front of the Dark Lord's face. "Here I found it."

"Good girl Liz!" Chaos said snatching the paper form her and looking at it with glee. "Now to do the dirty work." He pulled from within his pocket a lighter and walked over to the trash can. He clicked the lighter on and set it on the paper in the trash can watching it quickly catch on fire and begin to smolder.

"Wha-what are you doing?" the girl shrieked running to stand besides him looking from the burning sheet of paper up to the smirking face of Chaos. "I thought.."

"You thought wrong hun, that paper holds my records of 'misuse of the dark arts'.." He mocked the minister. In the name of Kyrix they're the dark arts. That means that they were meant for bad things. Goodie goodies like Redge should have never been informed of them." The blonde haired girl made a small noise in the back of her throat but dared not to speak, Chaos had that deranged look in his eye, that meant he was up to something, something big.

He reached his hand deep within his pocket and pulled out yet another interesting object, it seemed his pockets where filled with and endless supply of things used for committing crimes, braking into safes, you name it. This object however was much more destructive than a mere lighter, it was shaped like a sphere and clear as crystal. Chaos held his other hand just above it and chanted something in an old thick sounding language, similar to Latin but much heavier with it's vowels. The blonde haired girl watched intently as the clear and smooth crystal like sphere filled with a thick rusty red smoke that swirled around and inside collapsing on it's self into a tiny ferocious looking mass. "Oh Chaos what is that?" the blonde whispered excitedly.

"Shh you silly girl! Quiet! " Chaos hissed watching the forming smoke intently. He moved his hand away from the sphere and watched as the smoke turned a deep purple and tiny white streaks whirled across it every so often. "Now come on, we must get out of here before this thing blows, it's a seismic charge. "He grabbed the girl by the arm and dragged her out of the archive room and down the hallway getting quiet a few odd looks.

*************************

"I thought I lost you somewhere but you where never really ever there at all..."

*************************

"why do we have to go back there?" The blonde haired girl whined from a top a brown and white flecked horse, she pulled back hastily on the reins causing the horse to whinny with pain. "I am  NOT going back into that house with her, don't you see the way she looks at you? She's got it bad and I will not sit her and watch her take you away from me!" she yelled.

"Ah calm down. She's my apprentice that means that I have to teach her magic, and yes I do see the way she looks at me Liz I am no fool..." Lord Chaos said laughing form atop a red-brown appaloosa. He pulled hard on the horse's bridle and walked it slowly over to the angry blonde. "Don't worry no one's going to take me away from you..."

The blonde , Liz which was short for Elizabeth, snorted indignantly. She didn't really love Chaos, she just liked him for his magic, and it helped that he was powerful, this Liz was a very slutey girl, and had broken many hearts before. Soon she thought to herself it would be time to dump him and find another one who has no 'apprentices' who can see through her plans and stop her, she wanted power and she and finally found a guy she thought she could get it with. But of course their had to be someone in the way. She put on a pouty face, to hide her thoughts. "But Chaos they will she will! If continue to teach her magic then I'm going to leave you right here and now!" she jumped off her horse and stood on the ground tapping her foot and pushing out her lip.

"I can't do that Liz, you don't understand she's my apprentice I have to teach someone why do you have this thing against her? I have to pass on the way of the dark wizards it's in my blood, my dad taught me and his father taught him. I don't have a son so I have to teach her!" He argued trying to calm her down, he had feelings for and really didn't want to loose her. She was the first person he had ever really loved and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, he could bring he immortality, he knew how, and they could live happily ever after. No where in Chaos' mind did he figure she was only playing him until he brought her immortality, and gave her what she desired, power. For being married to a Lord, made her a Lady and being a lady had it's privileges in Rayllom, privileges she wanted.

"this is your last chance Chaos!" Liz said trying to get back up on her horse. "I don't know why you fool with these beasts, why can't you just teleport us there?" She hissed as she struggled to mount the horse who was holding very still and being perfectly good.

"Because they are faster than  you think." He hopped off his horse and held out a hand to help her up. She took it and pulled herself onto the poor red and brown beast panting from what usually required only a small amount of effort. Chaos smiled and mounted his own beautiful beast. He kicked the brown and red appaloosa and trotted down the road for about 20 feet then vanished completely from thin air.

"Why Lord Chaos, what building did you blow sky high this time? Another seismic charge?" A tall tanned skinned woman asked watching the tall half-demon walk through her door. She was very pretty, cat like green eyes and dark black hair with a long black furry tail that could barely been seen under her rusty red colored robes, the same color as the ones Chaos was wearing.

"Ahh... my Fallen Angel, I'm afraid the ministry will be in need of someone with a very good memory, for their archives, sadly disappeared." He half cackling evilly to himself. Chaos grinned at her fangs showing out of the corner of his mouth and walked slowly in her direction gazing about her cozy like cabin. "You redecorated.." He commented with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"It has been ages since you've been here. Where's Liz I thought you said she was coming?" The dark skinned woman asked sitting down at a cherry wood table and offering for Chaos to sit besides her. He nodded and sat down besides her stretching out his legs and putting his hands behind his head.

"Liz? Well she didn't like the idea of riding horseback so I left her there, but don't worry she'll show up any minute, she was ranting about her strong dislike for you. Though I don't see how anyone could hate you Seran your to sweet and goodie." He said mocking her with the last words. She glared at him dangerously. "Ah come now! Do you honestly think your as evil as me?" He asked smugly with a hint of pride and power in his voice.

"I am not as evil or as cocky as you, Oh lord of the Dark Arts..." Serangina, his apprentice and also his 'little fallen angel' responded getting up to pour a cup of tea for herself. "Tea?" she asked casually as if nothing had happened.

Chaos laughed. "Tea is good." He watched her pouring the tea, and quietly in his head he re-listened to Liz's rants about her, she did like him, but did she possibly love him? Chaos mind raced with thoughts he had only loved one person in his entire life and that was Liz, he truly loved her, deep down inside her loved her. But he had always had something for Seran, his apprentice he didn't know what it was but he couldn't call it love, after all he had Liz. "Seran..." He said finally deciding to mention something about it, he trusted her knowing she would never say anything to Liz, after all they both hated each other...

"Hum?" she said walking back over and handing him a cup of tea. She took a sip and glanced up at him her cat like green eyes full of wonder.

"This is going to sound really stupid, but do you think Liz like loves me?" He asked taking a sip of the tea and finding it was minty, ummm....minty...

"Loves you? Like honestly loves you deep down inside?" Seran asked putting the glass down and looking Chaos strait in the eye, he nodded. "I'm not just saying this because I hate her Chaos, but she doesn't love you...i think she's power hungry.."

Chaos opened his mouth about to retaliate but realized Seran was right. He felt his heart, though bitter and darkened snap in two. He had really cared for her, he had really loved her, she was the first person he had ever loved. He forced a smile and shook his head. "Typical.." He muttered lowering his head onto the table so his tattered robe hung down over it, he wouldn't let Seran see him cry. He felt the tears slide down his cheek and land on the old red wood table. He blinked trying to clear the tears from his eyes, he had been shattered, broken by a woman a human woman. He felt rage boil up inside him and he got up tear stained face and glared at Seran. "C'mon where going to go take care of something I've been meaning to do for years."

*************************

"You and I've got something but it's all and then it's nothing to me, Yeah..."

*************************

"Chaos what are you doing?!" Seran hissed at him from atop his brown-red appaloosa, he had taken her back to the 2 tall gleaming sliver-black buildings know as the ministry. The wind whistled threw her hair and she held on tightly to his robe, as the rain poured down all around them. They're blood colored robes where drenched with water making them three times darker then they had originally been. Chaos turned his head around and yelled from underneath his water dripping hood; "Don't worry already I'm going to take care of something." He leaned over to Seran and kissed her on the forehead. "Take care of yourself my little Fallen Angel it might be a while until you see me again.."

Seran blushed. "Be careful!" She called after him as he dismounted his trusty horse and walked towards the ministry flaring out his red-devil wings and preparing for something big. For 3 of the most important things in Chaos's life happened within 48 hours of each other, this was the first.

He entered the ministry dripping wet, with a cold gleam in his eyes, he was angry and an angry warlock is a very dangerous thing. He turned to shut the large doors, so the wind and rainwater couldn't come in, he didn't want any evidence, not with what he was planning. The doors shut with a small thud-clank, he turned back around and to his surprise he saw the minister staring up at him. "Chaos your in big big trouble.." He said positively beaming at him. Chaos watched in horror as a group of twelve ministry workers surrounded him. "Don't even try to break loose Chaos we have this whole area surrounded, thanks to your friend.." Redge cackled watching as Liz emerged from the shadows of one of the pillars in the center of the main hallway at the ministry. She smiled at him, though she looked like a drowned rat, must have gotten caught in the rain also.

Chaos was in shock, his life as he knew it was being destroyed bit by bit it was all being torn apart and laughed at. His girlfriend, had just dumped him, and betrayed him, and he was about to be arrested. HE stood there in shock as A victorious Redge walked forth and placed a pair of shinny metal handcuffs on his wrist. "chaos you are under arrest for the misuse of magical artifacts and the destruction of the ministry archives. Your fate will be decided in 24 hours." Chaos glared at him, knowing that he was as good as dead in the hands of the minister, in fact he'd prefer to be dead. Only one thing helped him keep his sanity, Seran wasn't that far out of reach she could help him out, hopefully.

*************************

"But I've got my defenses when it comes to your intentions for me, Yeah.."

*************************

They lead him down a long fore-long hallway, into the wizard's prison as it had come to be known. They opened up the doors of a small but highly secure jail cell and placed him inside of it, chaos didn't bother to make a fuss there was only one way he could save himself. He waited patiently until the two ministry guards had left, then he snapped his bindings and walked over to the window. "Good girl Angel!" He hissed to himself staring intently on the large black cat that was crawling towards the back entrance, which just happened to be right below the jail cells. Though the strong was storm and you could have barely heard yourself talk in it, somehow Chaos found a way to shout to her. "Serangina!"

The poor drenched black cat looked up to see him waving his arms to get her attention. She hopped up onto the top of the entrance and made her way up to his aid. Chaos grabbed the bars on the window and with all his strength he managed to bend them. She slide inside and shifted back into her human form. "Chaos?" she panted sitting down on the hard metal bed given to prisoners. "What happened? One minute I was going to try and get in to see if you where ok, and now your imprisoned?"

"You where right Seran Liz didn't love me, she betrayed me and now Redge has me in his grasp and all I can do is wait until he finds a way to humiliate me.." Chaos said sitting down besides Angel and trying his best to keep his cool, he couldn't teleport from these stalls, if you tried you got stuck for all eternity in the fiery Myias of Rayllom. There was no way out, the hidden pawn had met his match , women...

"Well get out of this..." Seran said listening intently. "Someone's coming.." she hissed shifting back into her cat form and running under the bed to hide herself from view. Chaos wearily looked up at the visitor, it was his only real 'friend' at the ministry. Grandson of Sabbar, nephew to Sargon, Raydel.

"Chaos!" He said smiling brightly. "so they finally caught you huh, well buddy I have some bad news. Redge and his sick mind.." the half human half elf shook his head in a weary way. Raydel handed Chaos a very odd looking metal case through the bars of his jail-cell. "use it wisely ok? I'll turn off the lights and say you've gone to sleep, no one else is down here is they won't care."

Chaos grinned at his long-time friend. "thank you Raydel I owe you my life.." Raydel nodded and pranced off in an elf-like fashion flicking off the lights and leaving Chaos and his guest in the dark alone. "you can come out now.." Chaos hissed to Angel as she emerged from the cover of the metal-prison bed shifting back once again into her human from.

"We better get cracking.." She said noticing the glowing tube that Raydel had given Chaos, which just happened to be about the only thing that could save him. It was what wizards called a 'twink' it allowed one or more person t cast a number of spells, in a anti-magic area, thus granting the user whatever he wished.

"Yup.." Chaos said rolling back his sleeves and casting a number of spells upon himself, spells that allowed him, no matter what Redge did to him to be able to keep his magic and one other thing that Lord chaos could not live without, with blood red demon wings, which allowed him to fly, and to teleport.

When the final spell had been casted Chaos fell back exhausted. "I think that did it.." Serangina said sliding down on the bed leaning against him for support, she also had helped with the spells and it took a lot more out of one who hasn't mastered magic than one who has. "we still don't know what he's going o do though."

"Let's just stop talking about it ok?" Chaos demanded rather harsher than he meant to, he didn't want to think about Redge and his evil mind anymore. He held out his hand to cast one more spell to clear they're weariness. "legoteam uno govisotisn liokeuou.." He muttered weakly. He watched as a white and sliver wisp grew from the tips of his fingers and swirled around him and Seran, then it slowly evaporated as the two breathed it deeply in.

"Thank you.." She said still leaning on his shoulder. "Chaos why did you kiss me?" she asked quietly the thought still hanging in her mind, she was one to always speak her thoughts no matter what they may be.

Chaos didn't responded at first, he had figured that if he would have gone threw with his plans he would have been dead, he would have never seen her again. But why had he? He still didn't know, he knew there was something between them but he didn't know what, it wasn't the kind o love he and Liz once had, it was something different. "I don't know Seran..." He said quietly placing one finger under her chin and staring her strait in the eyes. "But I care for you, deeply, more than I cared for anyone on this planet.." He said and that was all he could say or know.

She smiled. "I love you Lord Chaos, no matter what happens I always will.." She pushed his hands down but still stared him strait in the eyes. Then to his amaze meant but not total surprise she leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips. He pulled back unwilling to take advantage of his apprentice, after all it just wasn't right. But the way she looked at him he knew that she wasn't going to be taken advantage of, he was! Here he was the last night he would probably ever see her, ever see the daylight and she just happened to wonder into his jail cell with no one around. What and evil genius Chaos was rubbing off on her more than he thought...

"You are truly a Fallen Angel aren't you?" He asked but didn't wait for and answer to react.

*************************

"For the things that we're afraid of show us what where made of in the end..."

*************************

"Lord Chaos, High Lord of the Dark Arts.." Redge said glaring down at him from a  podium in the court room of the ministry, an evil look twinkled in his dull green eyes. "You have committed many misuses and mistrust of magic over the years, and that is not a matter to be lightly taken. To bad you couldn't prove it was you until now. But now, now that we can we are taking action and this sentence as agreed by the ministry," He nodded to a group of 12 people including Raydel, who was shaking his head vividly at Chaos. "Has decided this.." e slammed a grovel down upon a metal making a loud thud and then nodded to another person standing on yet another podium.

"You are sentenced to life as a cat to be modeled as the minister wishes. The only way that you will be freed is to find someone who you can truly love and they must love you, son of the demon lord Tren, which is an almost impossible task. For you so cruel and veil to have a lover, and be a lover. Chaos You have only one chance." The second man on the podium announced with a supreme glee in his voice. Chaos scowled wonderful a magic-conducting cat, and knowing Redge it would be white and fluffy or something...

He watched angrily as the minister got off his podium followed by several people and walked towards Chaos, who was bound up with several tight metal bindings like he was some deranged criminal on the loose. ((^^)) "Face me like the man you think you are Redge!" Chaos yelled his voice booming in the quietness of the courthouse and his lunar-blue eyes ablaze with fire.

Redge grinned and Chaos could tell this whole ordeal was giving him great pleasure. "Oh chaos but you are not a man you are dirt! Filth! You shouldn't even be here, your kind is wrecking our perfect all human world! You sit there like you are better than everyone else because your dad was a pure-blood demon but 'Lord Chaos' how did you end up only 2/3? Huh?  Well I'll tell you it's because your filth of a father raped my aunt!" Redge snapped revealing to the whole court that he and Chaos just happened to be cousins.

"Liar!" Chaos screamed. "My mother loved my father very much thank you! Your pathetic mother hated MY kind and my father's so she went around spreading rumors through the family until no one would have anything to do with `ol mum anymore! Quit spreading them or I will kill you on the spot you know that metal binding can hold me for only so long!" He hissed snapping the bindings on his wrists and grinning at the petrified look on his cousin's face. "and trust me Redge nothing is holding me up from killing the descendant of the person who caused my mom total humiliation. It's to bad your not enough of a man to face me like one..." Chaos snorted slashing his tail back and forth angrily, if he was going down he was going down in a big way.

Redge still stood there his green eyes ablaze with loath and fear, he had always been afraid of Chaos, always. He raised his hands and muttered something his right eye twitching as he glared at the 2/3 half demon a smirk passing over his face. Chaos feverishly tried to snap the rest of his bindings but before he was free the great black cloud that emerged from Redge's fingertips and closed over him and he felt himself being twisted and pulled in different directions. He screamed angrily, not of pain but of hate, he would kill Redge when he had the chance he would kill him.

Chaos opened his eyes and realized he was seeing in black and white, the could still swarmed over him but he could see the normally red and maroon ceiling, it looked simply gray and a darker shade of it. Just then the cloud dropped him from where he hovered at least 3 feet in the air. He landed with a soft thud and glared up at the minister who was cackling triumphantly. "Now you shall see life from the feline way.." He spat and walked over to Chaos, who suddenly realized that he was much smaller than he had been before. "Hello pretty kitty.." the minister said placing a hand under Chaos' now furry chin and gleaming with pride.

Chaos was totally freaked out, in the name of Kyrix what had happened to him? He was a now a cat, a very large cat who happened to have a pair of red devil wings. His world had been turned upside down is less than 30 hours, what was he going to do? He narrowed his eyes at the minister who was scratching him behind the ears. "See harmless as a pussy cat, to bad about the wings though. Guards take him to jail." Chaos bite down hard on the man's finger causing it to bleed, he green-eyed man shrieked with pain and fell backwards onto his rump. "Get it out of here!"

Chaos grinned at least he could still bite someone. "No need minister I can still teleport." And with that the cat grinned comically and disappeared into the night, not to been seen by the ministry again for 7 years. For Chaos' evil mind was already brewing with the most conniving scam he had thought up in years a good one to pull on the minister himself, but it would take some time, yes time..

*************************

"When you wake in the breakdown of the things you never thought you could be, yeah.."

*************************

Ka-bang! Somewhere I the distance echoed a long but very well timed explosion, Chaos was just out of range for even the sharpest evlen eye to see.  He grinned his now cat like features twisting in an odd deformed way, he was an odd cat but thankful that he was not even odder. He was larger than most and a redish color, the color of the robes he was wearing the day that he was transformed into the wrenched beast, but he got to kept the same color eyes and his blood red wings. Flight had always been important to chaos and at least he could keep that. He was banned around the ankles with lighter red stripes and also on his long whip-like tail. His left ear was still tattered on the edges and three sliver earrings hung from it. He was trying his best to make it as a cat, after all he was never a shifter and wasn't used to being animal like. The oddest thing however about this cat, besides the fact it looked it something strait from a comic book was the fact that now, when Chaos teleported all of his features faded away expected for his grin, that stayed until he was completely to the location he wanted to travel. And some of his earth friends told him he looked a bit like the Cheshire cat, whoever that was...

Chas was trying his best to adjust to his new body, he had found that thanks to the many spells he had Seran had cast, let him pretty much do everything he could before, except human-like things, like walking upright or wearing clothing. He pretty much had learned to cast his spells and was happy he was still free, you couldn't cage a person like Chaos, he was too independent to proud. Another thing he was able to keep, his pride, no matter what someone would do to him, Chaos always held his head high and carried on, he was no one's fool. Anyone who dared to try humiliating him would fall before him in the end and Redge was no exception/, he would fall in the most unhonorable way a minister could fall, Chaos would have his revenge. But not toady it had been at least 7 years since he was 'transformed' into a comical like red-banned cat and he needed to check up on Seran again, he had been there last night to get her out of some trouble she was having. The poor girl had this thing for humans...

Chaos shook his head as these thoughts raced through his mind, yes indeed, tomorrow would be the seventh anniversary on the mark. The mind whistled through his coat directly against him, making it hard to fly. "Curses.." He muttered flaring his wings and trying his best to 'hover' above Seran's house. He looked around for the form of a black-demon like cat, but she was nowhere to be found. "Where is that blasted girl!" HE shouted to himself fluttering his wings to come to a very graceful stop just on her stoop right next to a pond with a few delicious looking fish.

He sat staring at the woods impatiently, muttering things that a cat, or person should never repeat. He watched boredly as a black haired rather evil looking creature shot out from the woods and ran up to him panting to catch her breath. "Your twenty minutes late Seran.." He hissed leaning down over the collapsed body of his apprentice. "I would expect better, I haven't much time to spare.. were where you?" He snapped kicking her with his front paws.

"She glared up at him from the ground her bright green eyes filled with fire. "I was with my son Chaos the one who has had to live with my auntie and uncle for almost seven years now because you won't allow your apprentices to have children!" she roared in a way Chaos had never seen her before. She sat up still panting and glaring at him with hate.

"SON?!" He roared back. "You screwed your whole blood line for a dam human!!??" He screamed fear hate and concern boiling up inside him, all pouring out as rage. "You know firstborns are the only ones who have the capabilities to learn magic! Or do you have 2 other little brutes running around somewhere!" Chaos bellowed.

"Chaos I'm no slut like your little friend Liz!" Seran hissed back more quietly than she had done before flicking her tail from side to size and running her eyes up and down him, as if to size him up, he was standing a little close to that fish pond she had..

"Leave that b-" Chaos began. "Leave.." He said but unable to find the right words to say he kicked Seran's door open and pushed her backwards into it. "Calm down ok, your over reacting. Now tell me who's this kid's father.."

"I'm over reacting?" Seran hissed under her breath but shut up quickly when she saw Chaos' glare, he as still very dangerous, and out here in the country, where no one's around, he wouldn't even have to worry about the ministry finding evidence. She sighed long and heavily as if this whole ordeal was causing her pain, which it probably was. "Well you see I was at a human bar with one of my friends somewhere in Solaria. My friend and I ordered a drink and I left to use to restroom and when I came back I took a few sips and realized that the lights where getting brighter and suddenly I passed out cold. When I woke up again I was lying in the middle of a dark path and it was way past midnight. Someone slipped me a date-rape drug I guess.." She shrugged. "I really wanted to find his father Chaos I did, but I didn't know how.." she said on the verge of tears. Chaos felt bad for what he had said earlier, but how was he supposed to know. "8 months later I gave birth to Sheik..." She said her eyes welling up with tears.

"Well Seran there are ways to find out....but you might not like the results.." He said mind racing with questions and thoughts, 8 months was a little early for a baby. "Do you really want me to find out?" He asked hoping the answer was no, it was a dark spell that he had in mind. The only one that would work correctly on a questionable demon, Seran's bloodline could still be saved if he was at least  1/3 demon. For with females demons, firstborns are the only one of there offspring to be able to conduct magic but with males that was a totally different story.

"Chaos if you do this for me I will never ask for another favor, please do it for my son, I want him to know who is father is even if he's a tramp." Seran pleaded tears running down her furry cheeks, it was an odd sight, to see a cat cry.

Chaos nodded. "Where exactly do you keep that book of spells I gave you?" He was a bit rusty on DNA evolution spells, he had learned them for it was required and plus it was a dark art, but he had never really used them but once. Seran pointed to a large maroon and red trunk filled to the brim with books.

"It’s the one on the top, I'll go get the boy and you better still be here when I get back.." She said opening up her door and running out of it, her black-form streaking through the early afternoon light.

" I have no solution, To the sound of this pollution in me.. And I was not the answer
So forget you ever thought it was me "

"Is this going to hurt?" The small 7 year old boy asked Chaos as he placed a furry paw on his arm, it was eerie the way he looked like Seran the same complexion and skin tones but his eyes where almost the color of Chaos' own. He however didn't appear to have any demon in him at all, an unfortunate mishap in Seran's bloodline, but it could be fixed, hopefully.

"It's just going to feel like a pinch.." Chas said eyes fixed on the young boy's stellar blue ones. He sighed and started to chant in an inhuman way the last remaining spell that could tell them who the parents of this young lad where, and right now he really didn't want to know for he has his ideas. He removed his paw still chanting the spell and watched as a cloud of smoke began to rise where his paw had been seconds earlier. "First we will see his mother then his father appear in that smoke.." He watched intently as the form of  what his apprentice looked like seven years ago rose from the smoke, she flicked her tail once and then was gone. And now the moment of truth chaos closed his eyes, but opened them in time to see the smoke spiral up and reveal his worst nightmare, himself. There he was in all his glory , seven years ago on the mark. He watched quietly as Seran swerved obviously not as shocked as he was, he knew it as soon as he had gotten a look at the boy. A thought dawned in his head and he closed his eyes once more and teleported back to the ministry.

"Raydel I have to ask you another favor..." chaos said following as quickly as he could after the half-elf. "I need to be human, well as close to human as I get I know who she is, she's been sitting there under my nose for seven years, please Raydel?" chaos begged looking hopefully up at the elf who now towered above him.

Raydel grinned and bent down scratching Chaos behind the ear. "but you make such a cute cat.." An angry hiss from the cat, made Raydel think twice about his words. "Ok, ok fine but Redge is not going to like it when I tell him our x-convict escaped once again.."

Chaos laughed well, tired to laugh, came out more like a hiss. " Thank you old friend you will be repaid I can assure you of that." He watched as the elf pulled from his belt a small glass tube. He handed it to Lord Chaos who lapped it up, best he could. The elf stood back and watched the potion take affect Chaos felt himself once again being twisted and pulled in many ways until he found that he was himself again. He got up on his legs and wobbled about. "Well I haven't been myself for quite a while.."

Raydel shook his head. "You will never be yourself again, you are cursed with that form for the rest of your life, you are now officially a shape shifter. That poition gives you twenty four hours to find and kiss your true love, if she is your true love you will stay yourself, if not then you will be back as a cat." Raydel smiled. "I guess you better get going.."

Chaos nodded and teleported himself back to Seran's house, eager to see if she still really loved hi, the way she had way back when. He hoped she did, he hoped very much so, not for himself but he had realized that he loved her, truly and deeply. He couldn't leave her again, he would help with Sheik he would be a good father to him, after all it would be his only son..

Chaos blinked and was back at her house standing in front of the fish pound. He scanned the area for her, his sharp eyes, which could now see in color picked up a blood colored robe on the docks, with It's arm around a young boy. He grinned and rushed up behind her and tapped her gently on the shoulder, she turned and instead of welcoming him, like he thoughts he would, she screamed, as loud as she could. Sheik who had no clue what on earth was going on ran to the house and stayed there for a good long time. "what the hell are you doing here like that!?" Seran demanded looking him up and down. "and next time don't scare me like that!"

Chaos twisted his head sideways. "I thought you'd recognize me.." He said walking a bit closer to her, a little to close for her comfort, she backed away, still unsure of what had happened. "Raydel let me have 24 hours to find my true love.." He explained and watched her relax.

"I had my doubts it was you.." she said. "Next time warn me that your going to have a beard.." She said running a finger down his face.

Chaos jumped he didn't have a clue, that he had grown a beard over these seven years, he had always been facial hair free. "I didn't know.." He spattered. "Seran....Well see I have to, you know, I mean ..er.." He stammered not fining the right words for it, he couldn't think strait, a feeling had washed over him a feeling that was completely new to him, uncontrollable love.

Seran smiled, she knew it, she was smart. He wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss a kiss of true love, chaos had done it he was free to be as human as he got for the rest of his life. Now he could dealt with the minister and now he could be something he'd never thought he would be, a father.

"I love you my Fallen Angel..." He said pulling away and smiling. "now let me talk with my son.." He said a little unsurely. "I don't think I'll make a good father Seran, you know me but I will try my best..."

" And I want to get free talk to me, I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be all you need, Somehow here is gone "

"Daddy..." sheik said following after the red-robed 2/3 demon as they walked down a busy street in Solaria. "Daddy where are we going?" He asked catching up with him and half-glaring-half smiling up at him with his big blue eyes.

"Where going to go get something very important Sheik for your mommy.." He said grinning down at the boy, he was trying to do his best with him, he was a good kid, very good but sometimes he got really annoying. "Now come on, we have to.." chaos said looking back at the streets and realizing that something was very out of place in the middle of the crowded street stood a very large golden queen and on her back was a brown-slivering haired green-blue eyed woman. She was beautiful though age was beginning to creep on up her, and Chaos immediately froze in his tracks and fell forwards slightly as Sheik bumped into him from behind. The royal looking woman had one hand held out to shade her eyes and was scanning the town with a look of surprise, her eyes fell on Chaos and he dared not budge, there was something about her...

Well hello there young man are the source of power I keep feeling? An icy cool voice hissed into Chaos' head startling him. He glanced around looking for the source of it but found himself staring suspiciously at the woman and the dragon, they where both staring strait at him and Sheik.

Yes I'm talking to you...get used to it!  The voice snapped. Chaos jumped the dragon was talking to him, but why him? He looked back at Sheik who looked just as scared as Chaos felt and he slowly walked forward towards the woman and the dragon.

"Why hello.." the woman said looking down upon Chaos with the same powerful gaze that Chaos always gave to his inferiors. "I'm Tiyanni, Weyrwoman of Ryslen. I think that my dragon has found you eligible enough to stand for dragon impression there. Would you like to come?" She said, rather than asked with a tone of forcefulness and pride.

"Uh...sure..? But I'll have to bring my son.." chaos said looking back at Sheik who looked very thrilled to see a dragon. His big blue eyes where watching the golden dragon's intently as they swirled different colors, she was a pernese no doubt about it.

Tiyanni nodded respectfully. "I think he's a bit young to ride a dragon however." She said noticing the boy's fascination with the queen. "Now hop on we don't have all day.." she said gesturing for the two to get on the dragon's back. "Sargon did tell me this was a weird place but wow, this is weird.."

Chaos laughed. "Welcome to Rayllom, by the way I am High Lord Chaos, and this little runt is Sheik.." He said patting the boy affectionately on the head.

Nice to meet you both now can we get going Ty? I don't like the way these people are looking at me... the large golden queen said indignantly. It was true the people where staring at them both, for one it was because it had been years since a pernese dragon had been on Rayllom. And for two dragons where a rare thing, and so where Weyrwomen, well in Rayllom anyway.

"I think we shall Litayth I think we shall.." Tiyanni said and before Chaos could blink he was in the cold nothingness of between, then a second later he was whirling high above Ryslen Weyr. He blinked in amazement, he would bring quite a ruckus along with him, there weren't to many demons in Pern...

*************************

" And I don't need the fallout of all the past
That's here between us
And I'm not holding on
And all your lies weren't enough to keep me here "

*************************

It had seemed liked forever since the golden Litayth had searched out chaos to stand on Ryslen's red brown sands. He had grown impatient, very impatient and had thought many times of just leaving, that it wasn't meant to be. Today he knew was going to be different there was a murmur of a double hatching, the gold's and the green's. "Are there going to be baby dragons daddy?" Sheik asked as Chaos walked down to the sands infuriated.

"Yes I think so Sheik go sit on the bleachers and wait for me ok?" He said turning two shades of red. They had given him a white cotton vest to wear, a new type of candidate robe? He didn't like it one bit one bit at all. He had the vest and a pair of severely torn black jeans that cut off just above the knee. He felt naked without his normal tattered blood-colored robe, where he kept at least 20 means of destruction in the acclaimed endless pockets. He had been right in his prediction, they're weren't many demons here and everyone looked at him like he was some kind of freak. So head held high he charged onto the sands, and for once he doubtful of himself.

And when their was only one egg left on the sands, form Sig's clutch, he grew even more worried. His thoughts slipped away, he could easily port out of here and come back for sheik later, or make a big deal and storm out like some kind of idiot. Storming would be nice Chaos, now wouldn't it? A strong deep voice filled his skull. His sky blues eyes found those of a beautiful colored night bronze who was sitting in front of him. My name is...

"Diamadenth.." chaos finished for the beautifully colored night bronze. He walked over to him and scooped him into his arms, fully forgetting his pride, for a short time only. He carried the night bronze into the feeding room and slid a large bowl of meat in front of the hungry hatchling. "Boy will Sheik be happy.." chaos said a smug smile spreading across his face. Wait until he told Redge and Seran heehe..

Will you take that horrid vest off now? Diamadenth hissed into his head between large bites of food. Chaos suddenly realizing what he was wearing tore the thing off with disgust. He glanced down at his chest, where the transition form his pale human like skin changed into blood red demon like skin.

"Before I go get Sheik let's head back up to my room I really want my robe back.." Chaos said turning the shade of his demon like skin. Diamadenth laughed cruelly into his head.

"Daddy!! Look it!" Sheik's small voice squeaked somewhere form behind him, he whirled around to see the small boy charging full speed. He glanced curiously up and found that a few feet behind strode the familiar form of his apprentice, also dressed out of the ordinary. She had a low cut pink tank top on with a short short kaki shorts, (and her cat like tail could be easily seen) and in her arms she clutched a small pink dragoness.  "Look daddy! Mommy has a pink draggie!" He said his face filled with innocent joy.

Chaos' face turned four shades of red as he watched Seran's eyes look him up and down. "Me-ow.." She laughed placing the tiny pink dragon besides Diamadenth. "this is Juigyth. I got her from River Cear.." she explained staring strait at  the night bronze.

Diamadenth's rainbow eyes swirled red as he glared at the pink dragoness. She was looking at the scraps of his meat like she might just want one. Get this inferior pink away from me! Or I'll teach her to mess with a bronze! The bronze-black growled angrily into the surrounding people's heads.

Chaos laughed. " Diamadenth, we are to much alike. But if you want to remain my bond you must learn to deal with weaklings.." He said eyes fixed on Seran's. Diamadenth growled low in his throat staring at the pink dragon.

Just as Seran was about to make a comment on who was a weakling, Chaos spotted Tiyanni out of the corner of his eye. He got up and strode quickly over to her. she looked at him one eyebrow raised in a questioning manner. He grinned almost cat-like and threw his arms around her. "Thank you for finding me.." he said as everyone in the entire room looked at them. He let her go, realizing that he was making a fool of himself and probably her, but he didn't care, like anyone he knew was here except for Seran and Sheik. If he would have been back home it would have been entirely different.

The former weyrwoman shook her head in disbelief and walked away quietly not saying a word.

" And I want to get free, talk to me

I can feel you falling, Wanted to be all you need

Some how here is gone...I know it's out there

I know it's out there

Some how here is gone.... "

Chaos smiled to himself as he slid down on the couch in his living room, in the modest 3 story home that his father had given him as a birthday gift a few years back. He was perfectly content with his life at the moment, Seran was just outside the door talking to Sheik about something, Diamadenth was sitting in his room on the top floor growling about having to share a floor with an inferior pink and Jiugyth was being a perfectly good little pink and staying out of the night-bronze's way.

That's when Seran decided to walk in. Chaos immediately looked up and flushed brighter red than he thought possible, for the maybe second time in his life Seran stood looking down on him wearing only her undies. "Um...Seran? Sheik..?" he croaked glancing at her like she was the stupidest person on Rayllom.

"Sheik's in his room asleep. She said sliding down next to him on the couch. Their was a mysterious glint in her eye that Chaos either didn't want to or couldn't read.

"What do you want my little Fallen Angel, for girls like you just don't walk into her dressed like that on any ordinary day..." He said sliding farther back away from her, he wouldn't give into temptation just yet. Not until he found out what was on her mind.

She looked down fiddling with a  string on the cough cushion. "I want two.." she said innocently as possible looking at him her green cat like eyes filled with a motherly emotion that Chaos didn't ever want to see again.

"Oh no! no! no! NO!" he said sliding even farther away form her. It was no use, she slid over to him and pressed him to the couch.

"Why?" she asked fiddling with his dog-collar spiked necklace her lip puckered out like a child denied of a candy-bar.

"Because I can barely handle one. I don’t' need another running around here like a maniac.."

"She won't be able to run for at least another good 4 years.."

"SHE? Your insane I can barely handle one of YOU!"

"Please?"

"Seran geeze...how about in a year or two I'm just getting t know Sheik.."

At that Seran slid up so she was sitting on top of Chaos. "Lord Chaos of high lord of Dark arts and magic and what-not..." She began waving her arms around her head. "tell me; what other woman ha offered willing to carry your child?"

Very odd question? Chaos grinned smugly. "Every other woman I've been in this positions with.." He spat his grin spreading even wider as Seran made an indigent noise in her throat and yanked herself off him.

"I hate you.." She said grabbing the doorknob and jerking the door open.

Chaos smiled to himself and rolled over on his stomach. "Severely dislike.." he hissed quietly as she walked tow feet out of the door, almost flattening Sheik.

"Sheik baby. What's wrong?" Little Sheik, though around 8 and one half years old, was still very much Seran's little baby. He looked dup at her with Chaos' blue eyes and then over to his father sprawled out on the couch.

"mommy?" He asked raising one eyebrow, a trait he had also gotten form daddy.

"Yes?"

"What where you doing?"

"I was playing a game with your father.." She spat eyes narrowing at Chaos. He waved mockingly.

"Um...ok.."

"Go talk to him for a while ok?"  Sheik nodded and ran over to his dad body slamming down on his back. He little boy giggled with delight and flung his arms around Chaos' neck.

"wow sheik no more caffeine for you.." Chaos said prying the kid's hands off his neck. Sheik got off and sat on the floor, right in front of Chaos' holo-projector. (like a Rayllomain big-screen TV.)

Sheik looked at his dad crossing his arms and legs in mock-anger. "dad." He said in utter seriousness, his face flushed a shade of red. "Why..?"

"You've never seen your mom that way have you?" Chaos asked realizing that most of the time Seran wore the blood-red robes that where accustomed among wizards who knew the dark arts. Sheik shook his head, his eyes wide. "she was ...er...Oh I'll tell you when your older." Chaos said reaching out a hand to ruffle the kid's black hair. "now tell me how's that holo-watch we fixed up for you working?"

"Fine good! But why can't we tell mommy yet?" The full blooded white demon said. Yup it was ture, no wonder either 1/3 + 2/3= 3/3 right? Well though Chaos was technically 8/10 red blood demon he looked to be 2/3, which is something technically impossible unless there's that messy inbreeding thing.

The day Sheik was born, Seran was frantic and would have died if she would have known she'd given birth to a full blooded white demon. She also would have immediately know that Chaos, running around somewhere like a cat would have been his father. Tren was a white demon and everyone figured it skipped a generation, with Chaos' brothers all having white sons/daughters as their firstborns.

So thanks to a little Rayllomain engineering and Dave and Lisa's genius Sheik was given a holo-watch (a transportable holo-gram projector fixed onto something that looked like a watch) to keep his mum from knowing the truth.

"Cause mommy would have a heart attack. We'll tell her when your ready to learn magic.." He said raising to his feet and shuffling Sheik out of the room. Just as the obnoxious full blooded demon disappeared from the room Diamadenth decided to stroll in.

His head has held high to show his superiority and his crest looked luquidish in the dim light form the fire. Wings slightly spread to reveal half black wing sails. His eyes shone a furious red-orange at the moment and as Chaos retreated a final time to the couch, Diamadenth when with him. Plopping down next to him but still restraining some dignity, the huge bronze black let out a draconic sigh.

That dragon your Seran has is a handful my friend. If I didn't know better I'd chew her head off for thinking that she could ignore me when I talk. He hissed watching Chaos' holo-projector with one eye.

"Women are like that and I guess females are like that too." Chaos said patting the dragon sympathetically on the back. "Don't worry Dia, they'll be back here on their knees begging for our help next morning." He chuckled to himself. "that's the price they pay for sticking us on the couch all night.."

Oh she didn't stick me on the couch. I came here. I don't want to put up with her constant chatter and annoyance. Are all pinks that spas? When I'm grown there's no way in hell I'm flying pinks. I'll fly golds. He snapped a smug smile creasing his draconic face.

"Yeah maybe, just as long as no body finds out.." He said scratching his head thoughtfully.

You’re the high lord of the Dark Arts Chaos, there's got to be more than one way to wipe their memories clean...
