Dan has played part time for the Muskies in his first two seasons due to a full schedule of high school and legion games. In 2006 he will play full time. He is currently getting steady playing time as a freshman at SCSU, hitting .255 with 3 home runs and 13 RBI in 32 games.
Dan collected many baseball honors during his high school career. He was 4 year starter at Sartell HS ('05 graduate) and was twice named All Central Lakes Conference. He was selected to play in the Lions All-Star series and was named the St. Cloud Times All-Area player of the year following his senior season.
Dan was also a starting receiver and defensive back on the Sartell Sabres football team which finished second in class 4A. Dan's father Tom was also a long time Sartell Muskie. |
