:::CHARACTER NAMES?:::

When creating a character a really good idea is to give them a name! Of course it's simple and a must have so why the hell am I surgesting a page for names?

Well it's very easy to turn to create a character then call them John Smith or Alice Jones, names that will most likly have bene thought of by serveal other people. Do you want to know your charcter to have the same name as another? No you want it to be original as much as you can don't you? Like Reuben Greeley or Fae Nordika.

Not only you want a name that is going to stand out but what about if the name could possibly show something of your character?
eg: Reuben means "Behold a son" and Greely means "from the grey meadow". Fae means "A fairy" (or Raven if irish) and Nordika "From the North".
So we have "behold a song from the grey meadow" - could it be Reuben was brought up on a failing farm? "A fairy/A raven from the North" could Fae be as beautiful as a fairy or as dark as a raven from her northen home?
You don't have to do it with both names - one meaning would do it anyway =)
eg: Kerwin meaning "small black haired one", maybe your character has black hair and alittle on the short side?

Oh just throw that theory out of the window, pick up a baby book broze internet sights of baby names and surnames and pick out what ever you think goes well with each other.
Horatio Caeser
Eva-Maria Hallio
Tapio Jansen
Akiko Yamaoka
Look at famous people, characters from books or films and pick up their names and change them around, or if you have a very unusual surname you can use that!
Johnny Depp & Zoe Wanamaker <> Johnny Wanamaker and Zoe Depp.

Or how I like doing things as well. Look thourgh internet dictionaries pick out words that mean something eg summer and then create it into a name whcih can be as long or short as you like!
