Welcome to Greg Wainright's genealogy site. Most of
my ancestors settled
in the part of South Georgia called the Wiregrass region, mainly in the lower
basin of the Satilla River near the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Most had
migrated south from Virginia and the eastern counties of North and
South Carolinas. Almost all the genealogical information that I have is on
this site. I don't currently have time to do research and cannot
answer extensive questions about these families. Please do post
