Valentine wish

Daniel had been in the studio all day, and now he just wanted to go home and relax in front of the TV, but when he entered his apartment, he was greeted by the smiling face of his partner and lover, Darren Hayes.

"Hi Dan, I've been waiting for you. Look what I've..." he began.

"Sorry, not now Daz." He pushed past him into the room, and threw himself on the couch, not even bothering to take off his jacket. "I'm really not in the mood for anything now. Just wake me in about 100 hours, or something," he said, and placed a pillow over his head.

"But Dan..." Darren tried again.

"I'm sleeping," Daniel groaned and pretended to snore.

"Fine, suite yourself.. I knew you would forget it anyway."

The hurt in Darren's voice got Daniel really worried.. "What did I forget?" He sat up quickly, and looked into Darren's deep-blue eyes who was sitting by his feet on the couch. Daniel couldn't help but smile at him. He looked so cute when he was pounting: the way his bottum-lip was sticking out, it just made him look even more sexy than he already was.

"What... I don't understand, Dazzy. What have I forgot?" he asked softly, and reached out to touch Darren's arm.

Darren turned towards him, and just sat there, looking him in the eyes for a very long time. Just before Daniel started to worry, he spoke. "Can't you remember what day it is, Dan?"

Daniel looked more confused than ever. "What day?.. ahm... Let me think.. our wedding day? No, not yet, and there's still some time til your birthday. See, I haven't forgot that one, at least."

Darren shooked his head at him. "You really don't know, do you?" "OK, I'll give you a hint: if I say that I have spend all day in the kitchen, baking and making your favorite chocolate-frosting with crisp..."

Daniel's eyes winded and he looked down. "Valentines Day! OMG, I can't believe I forgot," he squealed and corvered his head with his hands.

"Yes, I'm very disapointed in you, Dan. How can I even be sure that you love me anymore when you forget one of the most romantic days of the year?" Darren looked away from him, and pretended to pount even more.

"Oh C'mon Dazzy..." Daniel crawled down from the sofa and placed himself on his knees in front of Darren. "Pleease forgive me." He reached up and took Darren's hands in his. "Or at least give me a chance to make it up to you," he begged as he made some very BIG puppy-dog eyes.

"Fine," Darren said without looking at him. "But how are you gonna do that?"

"See, thats the question," Daniel said as he raised himself again. "What about I played a love-song, just for you?"

"Danny!" Darren wailed, before he made it to his guitar. "You're already playing at least two love-songs to me every day. "Can't I have something really special, just today?"

"Geeze, maybe I should just buy one of these old-fasion heart-shaped cards and a red rose," Daniel thought, but then suddenly an idea took shape in his mind.

He walked over and opened the biggest window in the house, and then he turned towards Darren. "I promised myself that I would never do something like this, only if my life depended on it... but since you are my life, Dazzy, I'm gonna do this for you, and then I hope you'll see how much I really love you."

And before Darren could say anything, Daniel leaned out the window and started shouting, so everyone could hear. "Hello, I'm Daniel. Today I forgot Valentines Day, so now I'm trying to convince my one and only love, Darren that he is, and always will be the one for me."

What happened next made Darren's jaw drop and he couldn't believe his ears. Daniel actually started singing, and it was not with a tiny little voice...

"And I will always love yoouuu...."

He practically bawled out loud down at the crowded street with the full force of his deep voice. But before he could continue, Darren was next to him and quickly corvered his mouth with his own full lips.

While still kissing him passionately, he pulled Daniel inside and closed the window, he only let go when he ran out of breath. "You are so crazy, you know that?" Darren grinned.

"Yeah, crazy about you," Daniel whispered and pulled him down for another kiss.

"Hey, now I know," Darren suddenly exclaimed. "I know what my Valentines wish is. Some time ago I heard about this guy who got corvered in chocolate and then he gave himself as a present to his wife."

"And...." Daniel asked confused.

"Well, since then I've always wanted my own chocolate-frosting corvered Daniel.." Darren grinned at him. "...And since I already have the frosting ready, I thought maybe...."

"Happy Valtines Day, my love!" was all Daniel said as he started pulling off his clothes on the way to the kitchen.
