| ADAM PLATZ was born in Germany about 1737. He emigrated to the United States in 1753 from Germany He came with his father JOHANN PAULUS PLATZ & his mother SUSAN on the ship NEPTUNE. They sailed from Rotterdam, Holland. They landed in Pennsylvania on September 24, 1753. Adam was said to have settled in eastern Pennsylvania. Adam was married to BARBARA LOUIT/LONIT on June 9, 1761 in Pennsylvania . She was from Sweden and the daughter of a Nobleman. They had a 4 children that I know of: 1. JOHANN PETER PAUL b April 11, 1762 PA 2. GEORGE b 1763 3. SUSANNA b January 28, 1765 4. ELIZABETH b 1766 Adam was also married to ANNA MARIA KAISER. They were married December 16, 1766. I assume that Barbara died in childbirth with Elizabeth as she was born in 1766. Anna & Adam had a son: 5. PHILLIP GEORGE PLATZ George was born in 1763 in Pennsylvania. He died May 14, 1843 in Holmes County, Ohio when a tree fell on him. George was married twice and had several children. George married MISS RACHEL GESY. She was born in 1766. They had 9 kids: 1.
