Save-A-Life Animal Rescue was founded in response to a desperate need for a NO-KILL shelter in Anne Arundel County. At the Save-A-Life shelter, we take great care to find loving,responsible, and permanent homes for every animal. We feel that we have a lifelong commitment to every animal that enters our shelter and we care for each pet as if it were our own. Although the animals we rescue are well cared for at the shelter, it is always our goal to find a special home for each pet. Applications for adoptive homes are always accepted by Save-A-Life. There is a $75 adoption fee for adults, we do not have any kittens, puppies, or dogs available for adoption. The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of spaying/neutering, testing for feline leukemia and feline aides, worming, flea prevenative, and current shots. We are open by appointment only. E-mail us to set up a time to see a cat that you are interested in. If you are serious about adopting a cat or kitten, you must bring a carrier. No cat leaves the shelter without one.
