| John Patrick Byrne - 20 years old - Marine Corps. Born: March 27, 1949 Died: April 30, 1969 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam Hostile, Ground Casualty, Gun and Small Arms Fire Class of 1967 Richard Edward Biesiada - 20 years old - Army, 196th Light Infantry Brigade Born: September 30, 1947 Died: May 21, 1968 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam Hostile, Ground Casualty and other Explosive Device Francis Duane Battista - 19 years old - Marine Corps Born: February 13, 1948 Died: November 11, 1967 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam Hostile, Ground Casuatly, Gun and small arms fire Thomas Andrew Marchut - 20 years old - Army 4th Infantry Division Born: December 03, 1947 Died: February 05, 1968 in Kontum, South Vietnam Hostile, Ground Casualty, Multiple Fragmentation Wounds Walter Daniel Faith - 20 years old - Army 1st Calvary Division Born: October 10, 1947 Died: February 24, 1968 in Thua Thien, South Vietnam Hostile, Ground Casualty Guns and Small Arms Fire Walter was wounded trying to rescue four buddies on February 22, he died two days later from his injuries. Walter was awarded seven medals and ribbons including the "Silver Star" for gallantry in action, the nation's third highest military honor for bravery, which he received posthumously.
