Ghost Thumbprint Cookies
COOKIE INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpouse flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
FILLING INGRDIENTS
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp softened butter or margerine
4 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
all colors food coloring
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl,cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.Beat in the eggs one at a time, hten stir in the vanilla extract.Combine the flour,baking powder,and salt;graduallyblend into the creamed mixture to form a soft dough.Cover dough and refrigerate over night.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.On a floured surface,roll the dough out1/4 inch thick.Cut using a round biscuit cutter.Place cookies 2inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.Bake for 10 minuites or until very lightly brown.

Imediatly after pulling cookies from the oven,use the back of a spoon to make thumbprints in the center of the cookies.

Prepare your filling: Combine powdered sugar,softened butter or margerine,milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl;beat at high speed untill smooth.Set a small amount aside.In the small mixture mix a few of drops of each color food coloring until your mixture is black.Leave the other mixture alone.

Heat the white mixture for a few seconds in the microwave until it is able to poured out with a spoon. Now spoon the mixture into the thumbprints you have created in the center of the cookies.Let dry for about 5mins.

Next heat the black mixture the same as the white.Using a tooth pick,place two ghostly eyes and a ghosthly mouth on your filling.

Let dry about 15 mins. and ENJOY your ghostly cookies.
