I live in New Delhi, India. I was born in Kolkata (previously Calcutta), India. Click here if you would like to view a picture of my family and me. You can also check out my Yahoo! Photos page for photos of my friends and family as well as a few from my work. I am currently working with American Express Travel in their Gurgaon, India office. This website is mostly about what is currently going on in my life, or stuff that was important to me and stuff I’d like to immortalize in some way. Above in the picture frame, there are pictures from different stages in the past five or six years of my life. Pictures include ones of my dorm rooms; and of 'Team 2000' of Douglas Hall, Bishop Mountain Hall Residences. If you'ld like to see some of pictures and/or meet some of my friends from my years at McGill click the relevant year - Freshman or Sophomore. I haven't gotten around to posting any pictures from the wonderful year I spent at Apt#36 of 3524 Hutchison along with Andrew (my roommate), Aby (our permanent fixture), Minnie and Katie, but I hope to put them up at some point of time. I am constantly busy and tired nowadays, so just am too lazy to put up the rest of the photos, but I will do so soon. Desperately need a holiday actually where I can just sit at home and watch TV and sleep.
I started my full time work career as a web-master for Overseas Precision Castings, Inc. Since then, I have worked in few companies in a variety of positions ranging from a ranging from a telemarketer to a Tech Helpdesk person to a Trainer. There are a few pictures above from work with my colleagues. In 2003, I joined the Travel Industry with American Express in their Gurgaon, India office. While with AmEx, I visited Australia on a "Business Trip". Click here to see some photos from down south. Recently, in the end of May 2005, I switched jobs again. I joined a company called Tecnovate eSolutions Pvt Ltd. Tecnovate is a subsidiary of the Fortune 100 giant Cendant Corporation. I joined Tecnovate as a Team Leader - Training, to train people on the GDS Apollo and/or Galileo (The Galileo Corporation is another subsidiary of Cendant). I like my job quite a bit, since it keeps me in a very close touch with the travel industry. One way of kind of satiating my love for travel.
When I get some free time (which hasn’t happened in a while now), I am either sleeping or watching TV or I'll probably be hanging out with my friends either in person or chatting electronically over the web. I also love reading novels especially science fiction. Click here for a list and links to my favourite books.
I have recently uploaded part of my collection of desktop images to the web. (Well I guess I had downloaded them from the web in the first place, but still...) If you are bored or your desktop is boring, go check them out here. Mac lovers and Windows haters will probably enjoy my collection a lot more than you dumbasses who think pc's are cool and Bill Gates is God's gift to computers.This web page is best viewed in Internet Explorer v6.0 and above or Netscape v6.0 and above, with a Desktop Area of either 1024 by 768 pixels or 1152 by 854 pixels. Also, I agree that this page might take some time to load properly and completely on 28.8K or 56K modems. Sorry about that! Try to use as fast an internet connection as possible or be really patient.
