Vehicles:
Flying Nimbus -In Dragonball, Flying Nimbus is given to Goku by Master Roshi because Goku helped Umi (the sea turtle) to get to the ocean. Umi had wondered off in the wrong direction and ended up where Bulma and Goku where staying the night. Goku also saved Umi from a very large creature who wanted to eat him. When Master Roshi was told of this, he summoned Flying Nimbus, telling Goku that only the pure of heart can ride it. Goku is pure of heart so he was able to ride on it and not fall through. Goku uses Flying Nimbus for traveling purposes. It is used rarely after the Namek Saga begins.

Farmer's Chevrolet Truck -Used by the farmer guy at the very beginning or Dragonball Z, this vehicle has a bumpy ride and an unreliable suspension. Also has a small cargo bay on the back and a two-seated cockpit. This vehicle was destroyed by Raditz when he punched his fist through it to pick it up and get to Gohan. Afterwards, he blew it to pieces.

Saiyajin Space Pod -A saiyajin pod is the vehicles used by the saiyajins to go from one place to the other. This space pod is also used by the elite Ginyu Force, but differed from normal saiyajin pods by the Ginyu symbol on the door. Travels at somewhat of a fast speed and lands by crashing into the ground. Requiring nothing more than a click of a button, this vehicles is pretty reliable and sturdy, considering the fact it can blast right through meteors and lands by crashing into the ground. Also includes an image projector, an intercom system, and a computer.

Capsule Copter -This is first used by Bulma to get to Master Roshi's Island. I think this transforms into the Capsule Jet. Otherwise, not much is said about this vehicle at all. The Capsule Jet is used more often. The Capsule used for this is Capsule #87.

Capsule Jet -This is used on Earth in the saiyan saga. Bulma, Roshi, and Krillin use this to get to where Piccolo and Goku went to face Raditz. They get there in time to be with Goku when he dies from having sacrificed himself to take out Raditz. This vehicle is also used to pick up the remaining Z-fighters from the battle with Nappa and Vegeta. Karin, Bulma, Krillin, Roshi, Yajirobie, and Chi Chi ride this to help their friends. They pick up their dead friends and load the corpses into this vehicle and also take in Goku, Krillin, and Gohan, to take them to the hospital. The Capsule used for this is Capsule #103.

The Effeminate Ogre's Escort Car -This car is used by the effeminate guy at Enma Daio's check-in station. He uses it to take Goku to Snake Way. The car is pretty stable, the top opens up to let passengers out, and must be smooth to ride because Goku sleeps in it (then again, he can sleep through anything!).

Snake Way Street Cleaner -This is used to pave the road of snake way. Goku hitches a ride on this, but falls off into hell on the way to King Kai's. This vehicle also falls off the road several times as Goku flies by it. Otherwise, not much is said about this vehicle.

Go-Cars -These were used for only a very short period of time by Goku and the Orange, Runner Ogre. These were used when Goku was trying to catch the fast ogre so he'd tell him [Goku] how to get back to Snake Way. Goku jumps from his go-car to catch the ogre, who immediately jumps away from Goku and begins running again. We only get to see these for a few seconds.

Gohan's Sailraft -Gohan builds this to enable him to sail off the surrounding desert of the place Piccolo took him to learn to live on his own. Gohan successfully sails across the desert and onto the shore of an ocean. He then opens up the sail and heads across the ocean to his house, to meet Chichi again. On the way, he wakes up in a storm and desperately tries to bail out the incoming water. But, the storm is so violent, he and his raft are swept into the ocean.

Yajirobie's Capsule Aircar -We first get to see this during the battle between Goku and Vegeta on Earth. After Krillin and Gohan sense a powerful aura, they arrive to help Goku. On the way to the battle scene, they run into Yajirobei and tell him to distract Vegeta so they can help save Goku. Since Yajirobei is a coward, he decides there's nothing he can do and uses a capsule to leave in a pink capsule air car. He drives away and relaxes, but shortly afterwards rescues Gohan by slicing off Vegeta's tail and scurrying away.

Mr. Popo's Magic Carpet -We only get to see this for one episode (atleast we have so far...). This is used by Kami-Sama's assistant, Mr. Popo and is a magic carpet that can fly in the air. Bulma rides on this with Mr. Popo to Yumsebit Heights, when he takes her to show her Kami's spaceship. This carpet can also basically teleport from one location to the other and can easily support any rider.

Kami's Spaceship -This spaceship is seen after the Saiyajin Saga, introduced to Bulma by Mr. Popo. In their desperation to find a way to Namek, Mr. Popo reveals that a long time ago Kami told of some strange place that he [Kami] would stay at. Mr. Popo thought it may've been a spaceship, but needed Bulma to check it out for herself. The password to open the door to this ship is Piccolo, which means another place in Namek. Bulma and Mr. Popo take this for a test drive, arriving at Jupiter in just a few seconds. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma later take this ship on their quest for Namek, running into all sorts of obstacles along the way. When they finally reach Namek, this ship has a large hole blasted through it by two of Freeza's henchmen, rendering it useless.

Freeza's Spaceship -Large in diameter, Freeza's ship is accompanied with many smaller rooms, two rejuvination tanks (which are used to heal Goku and Vegeta), a big control room, and a round hallway throughout the ship. Vegeta is healed in this ship by Freeza's main henchman Zarbon, so that Freeza can get Vegeta to talk. But Vegeta unexpectedly awakens and escapes with the dragonballs, after blasting two holes through the ship's outer structure (and destroying the rejuvination tank). After Freeza is known to be gone from this ship, Vegeta makes a return looking for the dragonballs. He kills all of the guards and changes into new armor here. Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta put Goku in the rejuvination tank here, after the fight with the Ginyu Force. After Goku recovers, he breaks the healing tank and blows a hole through the ship. As Namek starts to explode (after the battle with Freeza), Goku attempts to escape in this ship, but it no longer works and he exits right before this ship falls into a pit of molten lava.

Ginyu Space Pod -Used by the infamous Ginyu Force, these space pods resembled Saiyajin Space pods in nearly every way, except for the Ginyu symbol on the doors. Like saiyajin space pods, these had a strong frame, able to travel right through meteors without injuring the passenger inside. Goku also uses one of these to escape from the exploding Namek.

Capsule Space Pod -These were MUCH bigger than saiyajin space pods and were accompanied with just about all of the passenger's needs. The first of these models in Dragonball Z was used by Goku to get to Namek. This pod was accompanied with a gravity machine capable of creating 100 times earth's gravity. More of these are built later in Dragonball Z and are used for a variety of purposes. Chichi, Roshi, Oolong, Yajirobei, and Pu'ar try to use one of these Capsule Space Pods to get to Namek to help their friends, but never end up doing so because their friends are wished back from Namek instead. Vegeta also uses one of these to train in so he can surpass Goku's strength and so he can train for the oncoming battle with the androids. These don't really have a Capsule #, they are just built by the Capsule Corp.

Capsule Aircycle -We first get to see this in the Captain Ginyu Saga. Bulma uses it to go get the unguarded dragonballs. On the way, she is attacked by dinosaurs but Gohan and Krillin save her. We get to see this again after Bulma befriends a strangely intelligent frog. After she builds it a translator, it turns out to be Ginyu who switches bodies with her and uses the aircycle to make it to the battlefield where Goku and Freeza are fighting.

King Cold's Spaceship -This is pretty much the same in appearance as Freeza's Spaceship. We first see this when the rebuilt Freeza and his father, King Cold, are heading to Earth with intentions to get revenge by leaving everything in ruins for Goku to see when he gets there. When they land they are greeted by Trunks, who eventually kills all of King Cold's guards, Freeza, and then King Cold. After he finishes off King Cold, he easily destroys this ship.

Bulma's/Trunks's Time Machine -This vehicle is created during the Trunks Future Special by Bulma, in a desperation attempt for Trunks to return to the past to prevent the Androids from killing all the Z-Fighters (which is what happened in his time frame). Trunks uses this to return to the past and he first kills all of King Cold's henchmen, followed by Freeza (in his bot form), King Cold, and destroys King Cold's spaceship. After Goku arrives, Trunks reveals his past and his origin, telling Goku they must train and become much stronger so that they can face the two, upcoming, horrible pair of Androids which will make their appearance in three years. He also gives Goku a cure for Goku's viral heart disease and leaves, back to the future. He uses this later in DBZ to get to and from his time frame.

Student Driver Cars -These types of cars are seen on English Episode 110, when Goku and Piccolo are forced to go to a driving school by Chichi, who "won't feed them until they get licenses." Goku drives yellow cars and Piccolo drives red ones. The first car is destroyed by Goku, who takes off the steering wheel when the instructor asks for it, causing them to land in a pond and sink. Next, Piccolo and Goku accidentally destroy the cars they are driving when they ram into each other while racing. They again demolish their cars when they run into each other outside of the driving school. Immediately after that, Goku and Piccolo fly out of the cars to save a bus load of children that falls off of a cliff.

West City Army Tank -While Cell and Piccolo are fighting, a large amount of tanks from the West City Army are sent to destroy Cell for what he had done to so many people. Cell manages to get a hold of Piccolo and begins to suck Piccolo's energy through his arm. The leader of the army demands Cell's surrender, who fires eye lazers at a tank. The leader than orders everyone to open fire. Cell easily survives all of the tanks' blasts. When several missiles are fired at Cell, he simply turns them around, destroying all of the tanks that were sent to destroy him.

Bulma's Aircar -We see this the first time we see Bulma and Trunks in the Trunks TV Special. Trunks is in his preteens and Bulma is driving the car. Bulma and Trunks hear on the radio that the Androids are attacking another city. This angers Trunks so much that he leaves her in this vehicle to go fight them. There was no clear shot of this on this TV special, so this was the best capture I could get of this thing.

Convertible Aircar -This shows up on the Trunks TV Special, when Android 17 is terrorizing people by running them down with this convertible aircar. This car can fly high off of the ground, is red, and is left-hand drive (strangely). Android 18 eventually gets Android 17 to stop using this car, so Android 17 hops out of it. This car is destroyed right afterwards, when it flies out of control into a building.

Capsule Submarine -This shows up on the Trunks TV Special too, when the report of another city being destroyed is put out on the news. Pu'ar, Oolong, and Kame Sen'nin are listening to the report on the radio, hiding near Kame's House in this capsule submarine. They watch for the Androids with a telescope while hiding and this is the only part in the special (besides the beginning) that we see them. The capsule used for this is Capsule #80.
