| Sailor Moon S Episode #84 - Crystal Clear Again In this episode, Serena is trying to find homes for some stray kittens. She asks each of the girls and Lita says, "Ya know my mom's got allergies to cats! I couldn't have a kitten." I really don't think her mom's allergies are going to be a big issue, since Lita's parents died in a plane crash and Lita lives alone. Episode #87 - Swept Off Her Feet Lizzy is running late and gets a ride on Darien's motorcycle. She says that she is trying to get to her brother because he forgot some tickets at home. The only thing is that she forgets her brother's name. She says that she is trying to get to her brother Paul, when Lizzy's brother is actually Andrew from the arcade. Episode #93 - Individual Happiness The girls are sitting around in Raye's room studying and Mina brings out a canned drink with Sailor V on it. Mina: "Look at that! It's Sailor V, and she's not wearing that mask!" Serena: "Yeah, she looks great." Mina: "Sure, but I suppose I'd look just as hip if I were a cartoon character. She can't have any trouble finding a boyfriend with those looks!" This is pretty funny, since Mina is Sailor V. Episode #95 - Birthday Blues Part 2 Amara: "I saw Sailor Moon and remembered her views in the car about people working together so I tried it." Uranus says this to Neptune after the battle with Kayore Knight. But it can't be true, since Serena was the one in the car talking about her views. When Amara said this, she didn't know that Serena was Sailor Moon. |
| Sailor Moon Classic Episode #14 - Shutter Bugged This episode features a young photographer named Peter. As Serena sees Peter outside signing autographs, she says, "No, way! That's Peter Fisher! He goes to Raye's school." Wait a sec, Peter goes to Raye's school? Unless Peter's really a girl, there's no way he's a schoolmate of Raye's. Raye goes to an all-girl school. Episode #29 - Sailor V Makes the Scene After the man falling from the building is saved, Serena starts crying because someone stole her job. Lita tries to console Serena and tells her they'll figure out what's going on. But if you look into the crowd right before the end of the scene, you'll see Mina and Artemis standing there watching. Real Tiara Magic You know that single tiara that comes on the screen between scenes? Well, go to spot with the tiara and put it in slow motion. Look closely in the center, and you'll see the scene from the final battle between Princess Serena and Queen Beryl, as well as some different scenes from the credits. Gender Crisis Ever wonder why out of Beryl's Four Generals just one of them was female? You'd think that they would all be male. Well, that's because Zoycite is really a man. For the North American version, they didn't want the gay relationship between Zoycite and Malachite, so they just dubbed Zoycite with a female voice. It was actually a nice addition to throw a female villain into the mix following Jedite and Neflite. Since Zoycite has such feminine features and tendencies, sometimes I think it was better to make her female anyway. It makes it less confusing for the young audience of the show. Zoycite & Malachite were not a couple in the original manga. Indecent Exposure Where's Sailor Jupiter's butt? It seems that DiC thought Jupiter's transformation showed a little too much back side. Just watch one of the movies or non-DiC episodes and you'll see her "cheeks" during her transformation. It's actually pretty funny that they did this, but after all, it is a kid's show. *^.^* |
| Sailor Moon R Episode #44 - VR Madness Serena and Luna are waiting in line to go into the virtual reality theater. Right after Darien comes up and starts talking to Serena, you see a person standing next to her with a Sailor V patch on their arm. Episode #47 - Much Ado About Babysitting Serena shows up at Darien's apartment to help out with Jordan. Anne storms out the door because Darien says that Jordan threw up on her. But in the Japanese version, Jordan actually pees on her face. . . twice. You can see the scene in that episodes "Sailor Says." |
