| Premiere Episode: #5 Computer School Blues Amy Anderson is a new girl at Serena's school. She is extremely intelligent and always gets the highest marks in school. When Amy first arrives on the scene, Luna is sure that she is a spy for the Negaverse. After Amy is attacked my a monster from the Negaverse, Luna realizes that she is the Sailor Scout from Mercury. Luna throws Amy the Mercury Pen which allows her to transform into Sailor Mercury and help Sailor Moon defeat the monster. Sailor Mercury's power is "Mercury Bubbles Blast," where a wave of ice cold bubbles hide the monster in a fog. Sailor Mercury is the brains behind the Sailor Scouts. She always comes up with a conservative, yet smart approach to winning the battle. Sailor Mercury is also equipped with the VR Visor and Mini Data Computer which help her decipher important information about the enemies. Amy is a very shy girl when it comes to love and romance. She gets easily embarrassed when talking about either subject. In Episode #23 "Mercury's Mental Match," we get to see the first glimpse of Amy falling for a guy. In this episode, we meet Greg, a young boy who has the power to predict things before they happen. Greg is also shy about girls, and has secretly had a crush on Amy since he first saw her in a newspaper article. Greg ends up being one of the rainbow crystal carriers, which leads Sailor Mercury to help save him. Amy does develop a crush on Greg, but they do not actually get to go on a date until Episode #37 "Tuxedo Unmasked." Whenever the Scouts are unable to defeat an enemy, Sailor Mercury will always be there to analyze the situation. Sailor Mercury is, by far, the smartest of the Sailor Scouts. |
