Things were starting to look very bad for the band, when Toth's little brother, Jeff, got a drum set in November of 2002.  He quickly became very good at drumming, and almost immediately joined ICE.  Finally after all that searching, the drummer was right there the entire time...

ICE got back to work Jeff learned all the original songs, plus the new songs the trio had been working on in the absence of a drummer.  Soon the song count was up to 14, and ICE was more than ready to return to playing shows.  Soon, they were booked to play their comeback at Club KROME in South Amboy, NJ, at the Winter Break Party on December 27, 2002 with The Postmans Syndrome.  The new lineup of ICE quickly went through their set plus an encore to show everybody that they were back in peak form.

Around this time, ICE figured that they needed to have some recorded material so they could spread their band's sound around quicker, so the band decided to make another demo out of the Basement.  This time they would record 14 songs.  The recording and mixing process took longer than they expected and it was finally finished on February 22, 2003.  The quality was once again subpar, but ICE released the 14-song demo entitled
Cleveland, and started getting copies to as many people as possible.

After a couple more shows at Birch Hill and Krome in early 2003, ICE entered themselves into a statewide battle of the bands, presented by JerseyShows.com with over 100 bands in the under 21 category.  ICE advance past the first round in March, but were unable to make it through the second round in late April.  ICE came back to play another show at Birch Hill in June, but this time the crowd energy was above anything that ICE had witnessed before, and it turned out to be an excellent show.  The band felt it was now time to step it up a notch, and it was time to go into a studio and put out a studio produced demo...

A little over a month later, towards the end of July, ICE had a pretty busy weekend planned. On Friday the 25the they played at KROME's Summerslam, then on Saturday they headed into Homebrew Studio in Belleville, NJ, to finally begin recording a three song studio demo.
