Joseph:
Well, well, well! 4 days are almost
wasted, and our cast has already seen
a quarter of itself been eliminated,
and the murderer and the mole are
still here. I hate to disappoint some
of you, but FEAR FACTOR IS NOW
OFFICIALLY OVER!!! Congratulations to
all 15 of you on making it past the
first game mode. There's a lot left
however. For the rules state that at
the change of every game mode, if the
murderer remains in the game, then a
new kind of Murder in Small Town X
game begins that was created by me.
Here's the way this is going to work.
I'm about to give you a simple
challenge. You will complete this
challenge and then I will rank all 15
of you according to how you did in
this challenge. The top 7 of you will
be safe and will not be at risk to
the killer's wrath. However, the
bottom 8 in the challenge will be at
risk to the Killer, who will then
simply choose one person from those 8
people, and they will be eliminated
from the game. Sounds like fun,
doesn't it? Well, we're done with
this, so it's now time for the
MURDERER'S CHALLENGE!! This is a very
simple challenge. Since we're still
here at the Luxor Hotel, which is in
the shape of a Pyramid, we're gonna
simply play the Yahoo! Game Pyramids.
Just go to Yahoo.com and play the
game, Pyramids. You have 23 hours to
complete this challenge. (Until May
7th at 3:00 CST) Tomorrow, Day 5 (May
7), I'm going to go to Pyramids game
and look at each of your Yahoo
screennames and see how high each of
you scored on your high score. To let
me know which Yahoo! screenname you
will be playing under, simply send me
an e-mail telling me which one to
look under. Then, tomorrow, I will
check and see the high scores, then
rank you accordingly. It's as simple
as that. So, those are your
instructions. Congratulations on
making it past Fear Factor, and Good
Luck at Pyramids!
*The 15 remaining contestants race
off to begin the Murderer's Challenge
as Joseph sits and relaxes his
fingers after typing so much*
*It's
the same time, same place as the last
two days. It's late afternoon on Day
5 in the game and the 15 remaining
players are sitting in the conference
room at the Luxor hotel. Joseph
enters the room with a card in his
hand in which holds the results of
the first Murderer's Challenge. The
entire room quickly grows silent.*
Joseph: Well, well, well! This
certainly is interesting! The results
are in and some of you are about to
become safe and automatically move on
to the round of 14, in which we will
begin playing another game mode. 7 of
you will move on right now. However,
8 of you will not and must face the
wrath of the Killer, who will
personally eliminate one of you. So,
before I reveal anything else about
how that will happen, on to the
results of Pyramids, the game you
played.
In first place, and safe with a score
of 68810, Aaron wins the challenge.
2. Simone with 66850
3. Toby with 60890
4. Brian with 55480
5. Fred with 51770
6. Louis with 40580
And in 7th place, the last person to
be safe, with a score of 35280, GORDO
IS SAFE! So, Aaron, Simone, Toby,
Brian, Fred, and Louis are all safe.
Here's the rest of the results....
8. Andrew with 32610
9. Bob with 31830
10. Kyle with 27760
11. Darren with 16140
12. Devon
Dean, Imogene, and Michael did not
even attempt the challenge.
*Joseph shakes his head and smiles.*
Joseph: OK, so we now know that
Andrew, Bob, Kyle, Darren, Dean,
Devon, Imogene, and Michael are all
now vulnerable to the Killer, whoever
he or she may be. But, there's a
small twist. I really do not like it
when people do not do anything in the
challenges. I expected to see a score
from everyone when I checked them,
and I didn't even get e-mails with
screennames from some of you. So
here's what I'm going to do. Although
Andrew, Bob, Kyle, and Darren are
STILL vulnerable and able to be
eliminated by the Killer, I'm going
to give them one last shot. I need
Andrew, Bob, Kyle, and Darren to each
e-mail me the name of who they think
the killer is as soon as possible
(before the killer contacts me, so if
you do it after the killer has made
his decision, it will do you no
good!) If the killer chooses to kill
one of those 4 and they correctly
named who the killer is, then they
will remain in the game and the
killer will have killed no one. As
for Dean, Devon, Imogene, and
Michael, if the killer chooses one of
you, you are eliminated from the
game. It's as simple as that. So,
that's the way it is. We are going to
give the killer a brief period of
time to think this over and I will
contact you when he or she has made
his or her decision. In the mean
time, relax.... if you can!
*Joseph laughs as the 7 of the
remaining 15 relax, 4 of them ponder
the identity of the killer, 4 drop
their heads, and one of these 15
makes a personal decision that will
end one person's journey to win
SBBTAMR 2!*
*It's late night on Day 5 in the
game. Our 15 remaining contestants
all sit in the conference room,
awaiting the decision of the
mysterious murderer. Meanwhile, we
get a flashback from earlier in the
day after the Murderer's Challenge
results...*
*Devon is shown walking up to
Joseph.*
Devon: This is SOOOO not fair! I
worked hard on that challenge and
what do I get for it? Nothing. ZIP.
And now I'm being punished for
something that I supposedly didn't do
when I DID DO IT! I did make a score
and although I didn't win, I did do
it.
Joseph: But Devon, you didn't do the
entire challenge. You skipped over
the easiest, but very important, part
of letting me know what name you were
going to work under. You are right
and I see that the date you did it on
was yesterday, so I'll make you a
deal. I'll let you, like the other 4,
guess who the killer is and if the
killer picks you and you choose
correctly, then you will remain in
the game. However, this is your only
chance to not follow the rules and
get some slack. No more after this.
Devon: Oh, that was my bad. I thought
you had some way to check and I
didn't read the directions. I'm sorry
about my tone, it's just been a rough
day.
*Now the camera shifts back to the
conference room, where Joseph enters
the room.*
Joseph: First of all, let me tell you
that Devon did do the challenge
yesterday and did prove it, so
although he didn't quite follow all
the directions, and although he
didn't get a top 7 score, I'm letting
him have the same option as the other
4 in predicting who the killer is. So
all 5 of them have made their
predictions. Are any of them correct?
Does it even matter? Is the killer
instead going to go after Imogene,
Dean, or Michael? Or is the killer
going to take a risk? In any case,
the killer has made his/her decision
and it is time. Here's how we're
going to do this. You 8 people at
risk will go up to the 8th floor of
this hotel. You will then each walk
into a room, numbered 1-8. 8 of you
will walk in, 7 of you will walk out,
THAT IS UNLESS ONE OF YOU 5 HAS
WISELY CHOSEN WHO THE KILLER IS!
Let's find out!
*Up at the 8th floor, the 8
vulnerable people each walk in,
waving goodbye to the other 7 who are
safe. The doors slam closed, then one
of them opens. 7 people walk out, but
one does not.
That one person who does not
move on to the round of 14 and is the
Murderer's First Victim
is............................
DEVON!*
*Joseph opens up the door that Devon
disappeared into and written on the
wall in red are the words "Cat
Spasms".*
Joseph: It seems that for one reason
or another, Devon has left this game.
Not to be cliche or anything, but it
seems that this could be a case of
"Controversy Killed the
Cat". However, on a serious
note, for the 5 days that Devon was
in the game, he played with as much
if not more passion and dedication as
anybody else. This was evident by his
great journal entries, which will be
opened at the end of the game with
his final words within. Until then,
his disappearance will remain a
mystery. The mystery that is even
more cloudy is who is the killer. But
what about Devon? Was he the Mole?
Let's find out.
*Joseph and the 14 remaining players
move back down to the conference
room. Joseph goes to his laptop of
all knowledge and types D-E-V-O-N.

The screen turns....
GREEN!*
Joseph: Well, 14 remain, and 2 of you
are the Murderer and the Mole.
Hmmm.... interesting! Anyways, it's
time for a new game mode. But before
we begin that, I give you one more
night of rest here in Vegas. Have
fun, because you're about to begin
the hardest stretch of this game!
Good night and God Bless!
*5 days passed... 6 are gone....14
remain.... One will win! The
others... well, they won't!*
