Later That Night :

Part One:

When Sonny and Alexis got inside his penthouse, they decided to just sit down and rest on the couch for a while. Alexis had laid her head down on the pillow because the paint fumes got to her and fell asleep. Sonny stroked her hair for a few minutes, went upstairs to take a shower, and then began to cook them some dinner.

Alexis finally woke up. She smelled delicious food. "Hey there beautiful." Sonny said with a happy grin walking out of the kitchen we aring a pair of black slacks, a maroon shirt with a few top buttons loose, and an apron around his waist. He was carrying a dishtowel that he was wiping his hands with dry. "Have a nice nap?"

Alexis rubbed her fingers through her hair trying to sit up. "Yeah, I did." She said feeling much better. She looked at her clothes and back at Sonny's. She looked a mess and he looked all spiffed up. Sonny smiled. "I left you a towel and something to wear on my bed. You can go upstairs and take a shower while I finish cooking." Sonny said reading her mind.

Alexis felt a little embarrassed. She just fell asleep on his couch and appeared like she took a splash in a pool of paint. She glanced over at the staircase. "Okay, thanks." She said simply and Sonny watched her cautiously walk up the stairs. When she disappeared, he retrieved back into the kitchen to finish cooking his culinary feast.

Alexis walked down the hall to the master bedroom and slowly pushed opened the door. She loved the atmosphere of his room. She knew he had redecorated the penthouse but she never saw the upstairs before. There was a warm fire burning in the fireplace. The room was covered in dark colors that complimented his dangerous image but it was tasteful. She went over to his window and looked out at the amazing view of Port Charles. She then went over to the king size bed that was covered in satin black sheets. On it lay a pair of silk blue pajama pants and a plain white v-neck shirt. She smoothed her hands along the clothes wondering if it was his.

She stepped into his grand bathroom, slipped out of her clothes, walked into the shower closing the door behind her and took a steaming hot shower. She allowed the heat to soothe her aching body. When she was done she wrapped herself in a small white towel. As she stepped out of the bathroom drying her hair with another towel, she looked up and gasped. Sonny was standing at the door leaning against the frame with his shoulder, legs crossed, and hands in his pockets intensely gazing over her practically nude body.

"And what do you think you're doing?" Alexis said with an arched eyebrow and more nervous than ever which caused her breasts to pulsate against the squeezing towel. "Taking in the sweet view of you." Sonny said in a low tone with a wink. "I came upstairs to check on you."

Sonny slowly strolled up to her. He grabbed the towel she was holding and gently wiped off some water that trickled down the side of her smooth face and all the while never breaking eye contact with her. He kissed her shoulder inhaling her scent. "You smell good." Sonny moaned flinging the towel on the chair beside them. "Its called soap." Alexis said impassively not giving him the satisfaction of knowing that he was getting to her. "Your intoxicating." Sonny said entangling her hair on the back of her head with one hand pushing her towards him for a long sensual kiss. She dug her fingers into his shirt so he wouldn't stop.

Sonny pulled back and then whispered in her ear with his strong arms now resting over her delicate shoulders, "Dinner is ready." Alexis smiled. She pressed her body against his, and moved her knee up to massage his inner thigh, which fired up his burning desire for her even more. "Good, I'll be right down. I'm starving." She said seductively giving him a mischievous grin with her finger moving lightly over his lower lip causing it to quiver slightly. Sonny licked the side of his lip in hunger staring down at her lips.

He finally nodded and retreated to go back downstairs with his hands once again tucked in his pockets. But he stopped again and turned back to see her fiddling with the towel she was wearing about to take it off. Alexis caught him. "Don't even think about it." Alexis said with a warning. Sonny gave a light chuckle showing off his dimples for a moment and left. Alexis shook her head and laughed.

Once he was out the door, Sonny ran his fingers through his slicked back hair in exasperation. "God, I want her so bad." He thought to himself.

Back in the room, Alexis let out a long breath, thinking she probably needed to take another shower, a ice cold one. What a day she thought to herself. "I took the day off, painted my penthouse, had Sonny ravish me on a table, and now I was in his bedroom in a towel. What next?"

Part Two :

After Sonny left the room, Alexis picked up the shirt he left her on the bed, and inhaled his scent. "Polo." she said aloud smiling to herself. Now she knew it was his clothes. He loved Polo cologne.

Alexis got dressed and she borrowed his hairbrush to smooth out her hair leaving it down. She walked downstairs and saw Sonny placing fine china on the dining table. He was about to light a pair of candles, when he looked up at her.

Alexis walked over to him and lightly taking the matchbox from his hand, she kissed him softly on the lips. "Let me, you've done enough today." she said and stroked the match on the side of the box lighting the candles while Sonny watched her every move.

He enveloped his arms around her waist from the back after she blew out the match. "How come I don't look that good in those PJ's?" he whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spine. "I'm sure you look better without them on." Alexis said teasingly with a light laugh. "Maybe you'll find out someday sweetheart." he whispered back again. After a pause, he stepped away and held out the chair for her.

He poured her a glass of wine, sat across from her and held up his glass in a toast. "To a day full of surprises." he said a low tone. "Yes, it was." Alexis said returning his grin, both of their dimples in full effect. "And hopefully more to come." Sonny said sipping his glass as Alexis sipped hers trying to quench her sudden thirst.

They quietly ate dinner taking small glances at each other hoping the other wouldn't notice.

"I wonder what he's thinking." Alexis thought as she ate her pasta and smiled back at Sonny.

"I wonder what she's thinking." Sonny thought sipping his wine and at the same time staring intently at Alexis across the table.

Sonny put down his glass, pushed aside his plate and folded his hands leaning over on the table now showing off his dimples. "So, how was dinner?" Alexis nervously sipped her wine under his heated gaze and replied slowly, "Delicious as always." Sonny nodded a thankyou.

Then all of a sudden they heard a microwave timer go off. "Desert is ready." Sonny said. Alexis looked at him puzzled as he disappeared into the kitchen. She thought she smelled popcorn.

He came in with a bowl of popcorn. Alexis smiled at him. Popcorn is exactly what she needed to top this day off. He grabbed her hand in his and led her from her seat to sit beside the burning fireplace. She took a blanket that was on the sofa and spread it neatly on the carpet and Sonny grabbed some sofa pillows fo r them to lean on.

They sat down, chatted and laughed for an hour about everything and anything that popped into their heads.

Alexis was sitting up and Sonny was half laid down with his arm resting on a pillow chewing some popcorn. He said something teasingly to her and she grabbed her pillow ready to pounce on him and they fought playfully.

Sonny finally grabbed the pillow with force causing Alexis to slip down on top of him. Their mouths were inches away as they stared into each other's eyes that reflected the dancing flames.

Sonny lightly brushed aside her bangs feeling the weight of her against his own that gave him this tingling sensation throughout his body. All they could here in the silence was the crackling of the blazing flames.

They inched closer together feeling the heated breath of one another.

Sonny's eye's fell upon her wet lips and then looked back up at her and smiled and in a slow sexy whisper, "Breathe Alexis. I promise, this won't hurt a bit." His voice caused Alexis to tremble with anticipation under his touch as she bit the side of her lip slightly. Sonny pulled her head to him with his loose hand behind her head and captured her mouth within seconds.

Once he knew she had given in completely, he took advantage and rolled her head over to brace on the pillow, their bodies entangled with him on top of her now, never breaking from the kiss. His tongue explored every corner of her mouth with hunger.

He finally pulled away. "Popcorn tastes good on you." He said lazily licking the taste off his lips and descending his lips upon hers again.

Alexis laughed under his lips. "Quite the romantic, aren't you Corinthos?" she said looking up at him with desired filled eyes rubbing her hands smoothly up his arm as he placed his palm on her waist slowly moving it up under her shirt to feel her silky skin beneath. He ached to be with her.

"Counselor, you haven't seen anything yet." Sonny said sure of himself with a wink and a grin about to kiss her again when suddenly they were startled by the sound of the front door slamming shut.

"You bitch!!"

Part Three:

"You bitch!" Carly shouted at Alexis. Sonny and Alexis immediately got off the floor.

Sonny: "Carly, what are you doing here?" he said in an angry and irritated voice at the unwelcome intrusion.

But Carly wasn't paying attention. Her angry eyes were staring right at her target, and that was Alexis.

Carly: "So, Miss Hot Shot Attorney, you finally got him. How long have you been plotting this anyway? Mmm...Since the day he threw me out or was it way before that?" she said in her usually bitchy tone.

Alexis: "Carly..." Alexis started off about to defend herself when she stopped. She looked back at Sonny. "You two have things to discuss. So, I'm going to leave." Alexis said walking out before Sonny could protest. Sonny tried to follow her only to reach the door knob right when Alexis shut the door behind her.

Sonny: "Okay, Enough Carly!" He shouted in a furious tone as he turned around and looked at straight at her. "This stops now."

Alexis walked into her penthouse, opened her closet and put on her shoes and coat. She slammed the door behind her and disappeared into the elevator. She didn't know where she was going, she just needed to get out of there.

Sonny: "Let's get something straight." He said walking up close to Carly and staring her dead in the eyes speaking in a stern tone. "Next time you come over, try knocking on the door."

Carly was about to start speaking. When Sonny continued on.

Sonny: "And never ever speak to Alexis like that again in my home or in my presence. Do you understand?"

Carly was now fuming even more.

Sonny: "I take that silence as a yes." He said walking away and turned back around with his hand on the leaning on the bar. "So? Why are you here Carly?" he said impatiently.

Carly: "You're in love with her, aren't you?" she demanded shaking her head in disbelief. Sonny just stared at her like he didn't even hear her question.

Carly slammed a document of papers on the desk.
Carly: "Here, I signed the adoption papers. Michael will always be your son." She said now getting her voice softer. She slowly walked up to him looking in his eyes. " Sonny, it doesn' t have to be this way baby. We can still be a family." Carly said sliding her hands around his neck trying to get him to feel something.

Sonny couldn't stand to have Carly touching him this way. He felt nothing for her anymore in the romantic sense. He couldn't trust her and knew that once he found out that she went snooping through his penthouse while he was away in Puerto Rico. Sonny took her arms off of him and walked away.

Sonny: "Carly, we are over. You know that. It's been over for a long time and its time we move on." Sonny looked down at the papers on the desk and looked back at her. "I' ll always be thankful for this gift." He said sincerely.

Carly: "But you want Alexis now and not me, is that it? I'm not good enough anymore!" she said raising her voice. Sonny shook his head. "Fine. Have a nice life with your whore...oops I mean lawyer next door.

Sonny was furious again. He couldn't stand anyone speaking about Alexis in a negative way.

Sonny: "Goodnight Carly." He had enough and didn't want to waste his breath anymore. He needed to see Alexis.

Carly walked out slamming the door and walked right up to the elevator and bumped into someone.

Carly: "Oh great. Just what I need. Your slut of a sister was busy trying to bed my husband." She said in a snide tone.

Kristina rolled her eyes. She couldn't stand the way Alexis took all of Carly's crap. She knew her sister was too classy to spend time in a brainless fight with the twit.

Kristina: "What's the matter Carly, Zander isn't putting out enough in the shadows? Oops...I should keep my voice down. We wouldn't want Sonny knowing about your little late night trips to Zander's, now would we?" Kristina said in a whisper.

Kristina walked into her penthouse and closed the door smiling to herself at the shocked expression on Carly's face. She really didn't mean for that to slip out. She knew Zander would kill her. He had been coming to her for advice on his feelings for Carly.

As Krisitna was looking at the great paint job her sister did with the apartment, she heard the door open with a slam against the ladder next to it. "You bitch!" Carly yelled just as the paint cans on the ladder tumbled down and spilled paint all over her head and new leather jacket.

Kristina looked at her silently for a moment and suddenly burst out laughing. Carly looked at clothes. "OOOOH...you will pay for this!" Carly screamed. Kristina handed her a towel that was on the table and Carly threw it back in her face and ran out into the hall bumping into Ned.

Ned: "Hey Carly." He said grinning his dimples and taking in her appearance.

Carly: "Get out of my way!" she said stomping into the elevator as the doors closed.

Krisitna: "This day just gets better and better." She said grinning at Ned as he stepped into the penthouse as she shut the door.

Sonny walked out of his penthouse in a hurry and into the elevator. He had to find Alexis. He knew she wouldn't go back to her penthouse because the paint fumes made her sick. Question is, where did she go?

Part 4 :

Sonny’s limo pulled up to the side of the road. He was at the edge of the city. He got out and saw Alexis’s car parked in front. He slammed the door and walked out beyond the trees that were ahead. He came upon a breathtaking view.

At a distance, he could see a bridge over a streaming river that was surrounded by a forest of endless trees. They were covered in the brightest covered leaves Sonny had ever seen that seem to glow in the midnight air. He looked up and saw a full moon and hundreds of twinkling stars fighting to be seen through a mist of clouds passing over it.

He walked over to the bridge and stopped. Carly’s words rang through his head. You’re in love with her, aren’t you?

He saw Alexis was staring out over the sparkling water with the wind blowing through her soft brown hair. Alexis could feel someone watching her and turned.

“Nice view.” Sonny said simply walking up to her. He stopped in front of her and stared into her eyes. He could always tell when she had just had one of those long deep thoughts and paused. “You didn’t have to leave.” He said in a soft voice.

“I know.” She said turning and folding her hands down on the bridge. She stared down at her cold hands. “I just thought you needed to work this out with Carly alone. That’s all.”

Sonny nodded and folded his arms leaning on the bridge standing close to her. He stared out over the water. “Carly signed the adoption papers.” Alexis looked at him with a sincere smile. “Now Michael is your son in everyway. I’m glad it worked out for you.” She looked back down at her folded hands again. “Now you have everything you want.” She said in a low tone.

Sonny now looked at her. “Not everything. I don’t have the woman I love. There is something that I need to tell you Alexis.”

Alexis sighed and looked ahead at the water trying to be strong taking in a deep breath. “Then you should go to her. I hope that you and Carly are very happy together.” She said walking away.

But Sonny immediately got in her way and stopped her. “Alexis…” he started but she put up her hand signaling him to stop. “No, really. I mean, this is what you have always wanted, a family.” She said holding back the tears with her eyes closed. She finally opened up her eyes and looked up back at him. “I just want you to be happy.” Sonny looked at her with caring eyes.

Alexis tried to walk away again and he stopped her again. She was about to say something again and he put his finger up to his lip. “Shhh…It’s my turn to speak.” But she didn’t want to hear. There was no way she was going to stand there and hear him tell her he didn’t want her or pity her. “Sonny, I can’t do this…”

Sonny got frustrated and finally blurted out. “Carly and I are divorced.” Alexis just stood still and said nothing. “I got a quick divorce when we were in Puerto Rico.”

Sonny could see the surprised look on her face. “That’s why Carly was giving me a hard time about the adoption. I told her when I went over to talk to her about Michael earlier today.” He brought his cold hands up to his mouth and blew at them and looked deep into her eyes. “My marriage with Carly died a long time ago. I had let it go along time too, but I couldn’t admit it to myself for awhile.”

He sighed and rubbed his hands up and down her arms. “ I’m sorry she took her anger out on you.”

Alexis took a moment to digest everything he said.

Alexis: “But you just said that you don’t have…”

Sonny: “I don’t have the woman I love.” He finished smiling. “You are the woman I love Alexis.” He said slowly in a soft tone.

Alexis just looked at him with an impassive expression. “Well I got something to tell you too Corinthos.” She said pointing her finger in his chest with that slight tear in her eye.

Alexis saw the confusion in his eyes and finally broke out in a smile. “I love you too.”

Sonny’s face lit up. He grabbed the sides of her face and kissed her with all the love and passion that was running through him at that moment. Once they broke from the kiss, he rested his forehead against hers feeling the heat of the other’s breath. He snaked his arms around her waist and held her close.

“Am I dreaming?” she said in a whisper looking up into his eyes not believing that this was really happening. “Well, if we are, I never want to wake up.” Sonny said with a boyish innocence.

Suddenly Alexis felt something cold on her face. She wrinkled her nose.

Sonny and Alexis looked up. It was snowing. Thousands of white snowflakes surrounded them.

“You cold?” Sonny said feeling her shiver under his embrace.

“Your PJ’s aren’t keeping me very warm.” She said laughing.

“Sweetheart, they’re not meant to. That’s what body heat’s for.” Sonny said with a wicked grin kissing the side of her silky face.

Alexis wrapped her fingers through his black curls and pulled him down for a tender kiss. “So, what are we waiting for?” she said in a sultry voice. "Let's get warmed up."

That was all the motivation Sonny needed. He grabbed her hand and was about to lead her to the limo when she stopped him by tugging his arm back. “Uh uh. I got an idea.” Alexis moaned in his mouth giving him a small kiss on his lips.

Part 5 : (nc-17)

Sonny and Alexis pulled up to a secluded cottage a half-hour later. Alexis explained to Sonny that it belonged to the Cassidines. Stefan had given it to her as a birthday present years ago when she first moved to Port Charles. It was her get away from the real world. Sonny and Alexis didn’t want any interruptions this time.

As soon as Sonny and Alexis got in the front door of the cottage, Sonny slammed the door shut behind him. Alexis turned around just as Sonny grabbed her face in his hands and gave her a passionate kiss that almost sent her weak in the knees.

“Sonny…” Alexis whispered in a satisfied tone. “Shhh…I don’t want to talk anymore.” He said bringing down his lips to meet hers again. He relished the sweet taste of her and explored every corner of her mouth.

Here we are just you and me

tonight

They slowly slipped off eachother’s coat. Sonny kissed Alexis on the cheek and then down to her neck and above her chest as she slowly moaned out while throwing her hair back. Sonny began to move Alexis backward toward the couch without breaking contact with her body.

Alexis stopped the rhythm and looked up into Sonny’s intense brown eyes. He read her perfectly and glanced up the stairs. He then smiled his sexy dimples, picked her up in his strong arms and carried her up to the bedroom.

We've been together for quite sometime

He placed her on the edge of the bed and removed her shirt above her head revealing her silky breasts. Sonny kneeled down between her legs as Alexis bit her lip in anticipation. Sonny hungrily began to devour each nipple, slightly biting it and sending Alexis over the edge as she ran her fingers tight through his black curls.

Sonny then got up and without breaking eye contact with Alexis and took off his shirt and pants revealing his silk boxers. Alexis got up and pushed Sonny to sit on the bed now catching him off guard. She stood up between his legs and kissed him heatedly with her hair covering his cheeks as Sonny held her tightly against his chest feeling her nipples now harden at the touch of his warm skin.

Alexis then pushed him to lie down on the bed as Sonny took off the silk pajama pants he gave her to wear revealing her naked beneath. Sonny looked up at Alexis to see her giving him a wicked grin. He then wrapped his hand in her hair and pulled her down for another kiss.

Alexis kissed him on the neck and then on his chest tenderly as her fingers roamed his tanned body. While she flicked his nipple, she slipped her hand under his boxers and massaged his growing manhood. Sonny moaned under her electric touch. Alexis could tell now that he was ready and slipped off his boxers. She guided him into her and rode him slowly getting use to the feel of him inside of her. Then she proceeded to send him on the ride of his life as Sonny screamed out her name holding her waist.

Alexis finally collapsed on top of Sonny, both breathing heavily as their bodies glistened. Sonny held her close to him. “I love you Alexis.” He said kissing her on the head. Alexis could hear his heart racing.

Once their breathing came back to normal, Sonny flipped Alexis over so that he was on top. “My turn sweetheart.” He said in a husky voice as he entered her forcefully and covered her mouth with his, swallowing her moans and screams as he began to move within her faster and faster causing Alexis to scrape her nails down his back. Sonny finally pinned her arms above her head and stayed within her for a while making sure every part of him had released into her as he nibbled on her neck. Alexis kept her eyes closed enjoying the sensation her body felt beneath him. “I love you Sonny.” She said in a whisper as Sonny brought his head up and rested his forehead against hers.

Sonny finally rolled over bringing Alexis with him as their bodies tangled together. He brought her face up to his with his finger under her chin and kissed her softly looking into her trustworthy eyes. “Happy Valentine’s Day my love.” Alexis gave Sonny a sweet smile and gave him back a lingering kiss. “Happy Valentine’s Day.” She whispered snuggling against him as they fell asleep in one another’s arms.
