| Did I Imagine You October 4, 2002 Transcribed by Heather (Vice President of SBR) *Opening Scene* Sonny, Brenda Jax and Alcazar - Brenda's Cottage Brenda looking up at Sonny. She thinks she has lost her mind. She rubs her hands on her face and then proceeds to smack herself repeatedly in the head. B: This isn't real J: Brenda--- B: This isnt happening J: You're ok B: I'm ok S: Brenda, Listen to me. Listen to me, ok? The death was a lie. It was staged. It's me, Ok? I'm here with you right now. *Camera fades out as Brenda stares at Sonny* *Scene 2* Sonny and Brenda still staring at one another. He reaches out his hand to her. S: Its all right *She pulls her hand back* B: Dont. Dont touch me. Call 911 *She turns back towards Jax then around to Sonny again* Call 911! *Jason enters the Cottage* *All the while Brenda focuses on Jax* J: Hey S: Hey. Jax is down, Alcazar is down. I hit him twice. He's not a threat. Get the phone, get the phone. *Jason dials 911* J: Operator, Two men have been shot. The address is 860 Birchtree Lane. They're both hit, looks pretty bad. Send an ambulance, now! *Sonny watches as Brenda continues to watch over Jax* B: *To Jax* I promise, everything is going to be ok. *She turns towards Jason and Sonny* Jason, you do something? J: Ok, Ok here. *Jason hands the phone to Sonny and goes over to Brenda and Jax* S: Give me that phone. Operator? Ok, look--We're--We're trying to do the best we can but we're not doctors. Can you get an ambulance H--- *Jason starts to apply pressure to Jaxs gun shot wound* *Jax moans* B: Your hurting him! J: It's ok---It's ok I gotta put---It's ok I gotta put pressure-- B: It's ok, It's ok J:On the Wound *Sonny gets off the phone with the operator and focuses all his attention back on Brenda, staring at her intently* B" Shh Shh Shh Shh J: Just hold that. All right now--- B: It's ok J: You need to talk to him, keep him awake. He's going into shock. B: It's ok, Jax. Everything is going to be ok. Your going to be just fine. Hey, nobody leaves, remember? *Sonny shakes his head* I Love You. *Sonny continues to stare at the scene playing out in front of him* *Scene 3* MONTAGE We see lights and hear sirens. Spotlight on Brenda Jax and Jason. She puts her hand to his face. Camera on Sonny watching all of this, it then pans down to Brenda and Jax. She leans her forehead on his. Camera back on Sonny, he hears something. We see the EMT's enter the cottage. One goes over to Jax, the other to Alcazar. Brenda turns and looks up at Sonny and he looks back at her. Her face shows some anger his shows sorrow. She turns back to Jax and then over to the EMT. She says "Please, you gotta help him. Please.", only you dont hear it. Camera goes over to Alcazar. There are now 2 EMTS by him. Camera back on Brenda and Jax. She has her forehead resting on his again. The EMTs have to get to Jax. One pulls her to standing position and moves her outta the way. The 2nd comes and tries to move her back but she is fighting. Jason steps in to calm Brenda down. All the while the camera goes in and out to Sonny. He is watching over all of this. Watching her most of all. Sonny hears something, he turns just as the PCPD come barging into the cottage. We see Officer Capelli. He draws his gun on Sonny and says "Drop it now!", again we dont hear it. "Capelli then points his gun at Jason, "You too Morgan!" We see Jason put his hands on top of his head. A cop comes up behind him and starts frisking him. Camera goes to Sonny, he has his hands on his head and another police officer is removing them and cuffing him. Camera goes to Jax as the EMTS work on him. Then back on Sonny as the police turn him towards Brenda. We see Brenda hovering by Jax. She stands up straight and looks directly at Sonny. They look at one another. EMTs lift Jax onto a stretcher. They strap him in and put a head brace on him. Brenda kneels down and kisses his forehead. Camera goes in on Sonny, he looks over to Jason, Jason looks over at him with a look of concern. Next we see Jax looking up at Brenda while her hand is on his cheek. Brenda then looks over in Sonnys direction and the camera we then see Alcazar getting strapped into a stretcher as well. The EMTs are putting the head and neck brace on him also. Brenda stands up. The EMTS lift Alcazar up and headed towards the door. Brenda moves towards them. She and Alcazar look at one another as they carry him out of the cottage. She walks right around Sonny and brushes against him as if he wasn't even there. Sonny just watches her. He watches as she goes back over to Jax and places her hand on his chest. They start to take him away and Brenda goes to leave with him. She is stopped by Officer Capelli. She resists, all the while Punching at him and trying to get to Jax. He holds her back, grabs her from behind to try and stop her from resisting. We see Jax being brought out of the cottage. The cameras goes back to Capelli and Brenda then on Sonny. S: Get your hands off of her Capelli! B: Dont you protect me! Its your fault! *Camera back on Sonny. He looks angry and wounded at the same time* *end scene* *Scene 4* The Cottage - Sonny, Brenda, Jason and Capelli *Jason is giving his statement to the police* *Sonny is watching Brenda. He then turns his attention to Jason and Brenda turns and watches Sonny* J: Alcazar shot Jax who wasn't armed, ok? Then Alcazar tried to kidnap Brenda at gun point and thats when Sonny came in. Alcazar fired at Sonny and Sonny fired back in self defense. C: And what were you doing Morgan? J: I hadn't come in yet? C: So this is all speculation S: That's exactly what happened, why do you have to hear it again? C: Because Morgan wasn't a witness Corinthos, she was. Your name's Brenda? *Brenda turns and faces Capelli* B: Yes, Brenda. C: How do you know this Luis Alcazar? B: I lived with him. C: For how long? B: 4 years. Look it happened exactly the way Jason said---Luis shot Jax. Sonny shot Luis, all right? Now I have to go to the hospital right now-- C: How do you know Jax? B: He used to be my husband C: Is that why Alcazar shot him? B" Yes it is-- S: Ok, nobody says another word until I talk to my lawyer. *Brenda turns and looks at Sonny* C: Ok, Corinthos, Lets all go downtown while forensics sweeps this place. You can talk to all the lawyers you want. B: Well, your going to have to get my statement here cause I'm going to the hospital. *She tries to step around Capelli and he blocks her* C: Your not going anywhere. At this point all I know is that this case is all about you. *Camera fades out on Brenda* *Scene 5* - The PCPD, Sonny, Brenda, Jason, Mac and Capelli. *Brenda walks over to Mac and begins to talk, Mac has a sheer and utter look of surprise on his face* B: Mac! Listen, I have to leave. M: Brenda--Capelli called this in I was sure he got the name wrong. Where have you been? What happened to you? B: It's a very long story. Look I need to get to the hospital because Jax is there. M: First we need some facts. What do you know about this double shooting. B: Jason can tell you everything you need to know. Its very hard for me to focus on anything but Jax right now. C: Look, l she was the only witness boss. Look, she was in the room when Jax and Alcazar were shot. It looks like Corinthos and Morgan were holding her hostage to draw Alcazar into an ambush. B: Please I need to leave. M: Look, Im sure Jax is getting the best possible care Brenda. What you can do to help Jax is to tell me who shot him and why. What happened in the room? B: Ok Ok Ok--- M: what was Sonnys part in all of this? B: Luis came in the room he shot Jax. Sonny came in the room, he saved both of us. Basically. If it weren't for Sonny Jax would be dead. *She turns and looks at Sonny, Sonny stares at Mac* *end scene* *Scene 6* - The PCPD - Sonny, Brenda, Jason, Mac and Capelli. B: I heard Luis's gun go off and then I heard another gun shot. M: You didnt actually see who shot who? B: No I---I saw Luis shot Jax and I was shielding him with my body. I heard another gun shot. It had to be Luis cause he was the closest to me. And then I heard Sonny shot back in self defense. I mean Mac it is pretty simple. *Sonny is shaking his head yes* Sonny saved both of our lives. Now can I go? C: At the scene you said it was all Sonny's fault. Now you make him out to be the big hero, which is it? * Sonny and Jason are both shaking their heads in disgust* B: Yeah well, at the scene I was in shock!, ok? M: All right All right. I think we got enough--for now. B: Thank You M: Sonny and Jason are staying. We still have the matter of Sonnys untimely death and miraculous recovery. I'm thinkin maybe there's a broken law or two in there somewhere. Capelli get them in interrogation 1. C: Let's go! *He begins to lead both Jason and Sonny towards the room* S: Ok, you know what Capellini. You know im entitled to a phone call. C: Yeah, I'll get to it. S: Ok, thank you. Thank you. Bye. Bye. S: Ok, you know what? I should probably warn Carly that Brenda's here otherwise you know what's going to happen. J: *sigh* M: Ok, Brenda, You can go. I'll have a squad car take you to the hospital. B: Oh, thank you Mac. *Brenda starts to exit just as Carly enters in a hurry, they knock right into one another* B: OOH! C" Will you watch where you are going? *And what I can only imagine is supposed to look of shock appears on Carly's face* *Camera then shifts to the Interrogation room as Sonny watches Brenda and Carly standing in front of one another. The look on his face---priceless. He knows this isnt going to be pretty at all* *End scene* |
