I have been racing in some form for as long as I can remember.  I started racing BMX bicycles around dirt tracks when I was a teenager.  I started racing sailboats as a young adult when I met my wife.  I raced Jet Skis for 3 years and finished as a season champion.  I first started auto racing on Oval tracks a few years ago (NASCAR style), competing for 2 years.  In 2003 I upgraded to sports car racing on road courses because I find it more fun, more challenging, and the people involved are very friendly.  My current focus is on racing the Spec Miata with the Sports Car Club of America, SCCA.  In 2004 I finished in 2nd place in both the NERCC and NARCC championships by only a few points.  I had 9 SCCA starts in pursuit of the championship and finished in 7th or better in each race with fields of 40 or more cars. In 2005 I plan to focus hard on winning both championships.
