Summary Country Spirit is a basically a story about fights and feud in a winery, Ah Shen works as a lower ranking in the winery, while Sjun Fung is the daughter of a poor man and her job is to push the raft across the river. At first, Ah Shen and Shen Fung are enemies, but they soon find out they have fallen for each other. The windery has also many problems with one of their higher ranking workers, he turns their back to them and wrecks all the plans. Meanwhile, Joe Ma is the son of the owner of the winery, but he has been to war and lost for a long time. Charmaine was forced to marry him, as her Date and Time of birth matched his. Despite being a "Siu Lai Lai" she still had to do work and everyone treated her as a worker becuase they thought that Joe Ma wasnt alive.
