| TVB's anniversary Production "Point Of No Return" with high of 37 Points last weeks avergaging of 34 points. Yesterday they held a Promotional Event at a wishing tree in Lam Tseun. Attendance included Charmaine, Julian and some other cast members. Julian wished for rating sto shoot to 100 points and Charmaie wished for hearts desire as well as happiness and rising ratings, Although Charmaine is a lady, it took her 2 throws to throw her charm in the tree and it took many times for Julian to throw his as he got the orange tangled up. |
| When Charmaine was aked whetehr she wanted to take the female award next year , she laughes "I will try my best!" [Do you feel you are not working hard enough?] "Basically i have worked hard every year, so many people feel i should've got the award, but there was only one award, so how do you split it? I will keep on working hard next year". As for the gossipt that has risen after Maggie Cheung had taken the female award, which was originally goingto Keni, Maggie ignoring Jessica and pulling faces at her, Charmaine replies diplomatically saying "I have been busy filming recently and have not read the papers, so i don't know what happneed, but i am happy for Maggie and she deserves it" She also says while filming "Palatial Sins" she found Maggie a quiet person and is not one for gossip. With Charmaine wishing for happiness, does this mean she wasnt happy this year? She laughs, "Actually, im a person who loves to laugh and my life has been happy in the past, i hope that i will continue to be happy in the future" Charmaine and "Palatial Sins" cast crew ae going to Beijing to film for "Palatial Sins" in December and probably will be staying for a month. She qill be bringing lots of warm clothing and gear to combat the cold weather. When asked it her rumoured boyfriend [Benny Chan] will visit her, she laughs "Lets see if he has the heart!" [Where is he at the moment?] He is somewhere on this earth, if not Taiwan then China, we are both busy working and dont keep in touch very much" [So does that mean he wont be spending Xmas with you?] "I dont even get time to spend with my mum! But i wont be lonely at all, because i have a whole bunch of cast and crew to company me soi can have a white christmas, and not have to spend money on buying presents!" |
