Grice, Daniel, Captain, was born 20 Jul 1826 in Georgia, died 19 May 1896 and was buried in Carmel Presbyterian Church, Pickens County.

Adams, James J. "Jake", born 17 Feb 1849 in Pickens District, son of Samuel J. Adams and Katherine C. Grant. He enlisted 14 Sept 1864 and served until discharged 15 April 1865 in Spartanburg. Married to Nancy Ann Alexander (1852-1941), he died 11 Feb 1925 in Pickens County and is buried in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery Pickens County. Applied for 22 Jan. 1921 Pickens.

Brown, Sheriff Haynes, born 11 Oct 1847 in Pickens District, he enlisted Sept 1864 and served until discharged 9 April 1865 in Spartanburg. Married to Nancy Catherine Blassingame (1856-1930), he died 13 June 1935 in Pickens County and is buried in Griffin Baptist Church, Pickens District

Foster, Columbus Lafayette, was born 12 Sept 1848, in Dacusville, Pickens District. Joined although under aged. He was in a number of skirmishes between Charleston and Savannah, also in North Carolina. Met up with Sherman's raiders and had various fights. He was slightly wounded. He was honorably discharged at Spartanburg.

Lesley, Larkin S., born 3 Dec 1847 in Pickens District, he enlisted 30 Sept 1864 and served until discharged April 1865 in Spartanburg. Married to Malinda Simmons, he died 11 Dec 1931 Greenville and is buried Crossroads Baptist Church, Pickens District

Looper, James Tyre. He was born 10 Aug 1846 in Pickens County. He enlisted 8 Sept 1864 and served until discharged 9 April 1865 in Spartanburg. He died 26 Jun 1934 and is buried in Secona Baptist Church, Pickens County.

Mauldin, Elias Earl, born 8 May 1848 in Pickens County, died 22 Dec 1925, and was buried in Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenville

McWhorter, William Wesley. He enlisted Sept 1864 and was discharged 19 April 1865 in Spartanburg

Youngblood, Samuel K., born 17 Apr 1848 in Pickens District, he enlisted 1 Sept 1864 and was discharged 1 May 1865 in Raleigh, NC. Married to Martha Lucrisha Nalley, he died 17 April 1915 and is buried in Zion Methodist Church, Pickens County.
