Huiet, George D., Adjutant, Captain was a 48-year old farmer from Oakland in Edgefield District, who previously commanded Co. B, 2d SC Infantry, State Troops, in 1863. He was subsequently elected adjutant of the 6th Battalion SC Reserve Infantry. His oldest son, Sergeant Joseph R. Huiet, Co. B, 14th SC Infantry, was killed at Frayser's Farm, VA, on 30 June 1862. Wise ( Wyse ), Joseph, 1st Lieutenant, was a 46-year old farmer from Perry's Crossroads in Edgefield District, who served previously as first lieutenant of Co. B, 2d SC Infantry, State Troops, in 1863. He was elected first lieutenant of Company D on 8 June 1864, in place of Thomas Jones. 1860. Died 3 June 1865 in New York POW Camp, Buried Cypress Hill National Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY Harting, Perry Havird, Winfield Holland, Ed Holley, Sam Joiner, P., died 5 Mar Feb 1865 and is buried in Confederate Enclosure (Section E) of Elmwood Cemtery, Columbia. He may have been in company A Jones, Thomas, , was a 45-year old farmer from Edgefield, who served previously as first lieutenant of Co. B, 2nd SC Infantry, State Troops, in 1863. He was elected first lieutenant of Company D at its formation in April 1864, but when that election was subsequently invalidated, and a new one held on 8 June 1864, he was not reelected. Thereafter, he served in the company as a private. Following the war, he represented Edgefield District in the state legislature. Kittrell, J. C., died 1 Feb 1865 and is buried in Confederate Enclosure (Section E) of Elmwood Cemtery, Columbia. He may have been in company A Long, James Manard, Hamp Maroney, John McCraken, Will Mitchel, Forest Mobley, Allen Morel, Lafatte Moss, Syl Nickerson, Charlie Orander, William Padgette, Russell Padgett, Wade Padgette, Wilson Palmer, Edward Rambo, Robert Ramsey, ??? Reynold, Singleton Riley, Edward Rinehart, William Rogers, Hilary Q., born about 1846, enlisted in August 1864 and was discharged 26 April 1865 in Greensboro. Resided in Ward, SC after The War. Also served in 7th Regiment South Carolina Infantry, Company C. Rogers ( Rodgers ), John Lemuel, born 1847. He married Frances Hannah Boddie who was born in 1851 and died in 1922. Lem died 1917. Enlisted Sept 1864 and surrndered with unit 15 April 1865 at Greensboro, NC Smith, Zack Snelgrov, Milledge Stevens, Ben Stevens, Leb Stevens, William, was a 47-year old farmer from Ridge in Edgefield District who served previously as a private in Co. B, 2nd SC Infantry, State Troops. He was elected 3rd lieutenant of Company D at its formation in April 1864, but when that election was subsequently invalidated, and a new one held on 8 June 1864, he was not reelected.
