Breeden, James Franklin (J. F.), born 3 Oct 1848, Adamsville Township, Marlboro County, died 26 Sept 1904. Son of a Baptist preacher. Five of his uncles fought with the 4th SC Cavalry, Company E, two of whom were killed, and another imprisoned at Elmira, NY POW Camp.

Raybon, John Franklin, was born 17 February 1847, in Marlboro County, and lost his middle finger of his right hand to a mini ball in the service of his state. After The War, he became a Baptist preacher. He died on 26 June 1932 and was buried on lot 1, Meadowbrook Cemetery, Lumberton, N. C., in a Confederate uniform. GrGrandson
