Enter Annwn: The Otherworld

Alongside the world of the Nargoth Empire and the N'ndasha Euli lies another world: Annwn. Colors in Annwn are brighter, beasts are larger, trees are taller. The weave of magic flows through the land, though many are frustrated to find that they cannot touch it.

Annwn is a land of legends and heroes, myths and monsters. Be welcome, and may your name and deeds be sung long after your passing from these lands.

Developer's Note: Annwn is the name for otherworld or elf-land found in the medieval Welsh tale collection called the Mabinogion. The races and cultures of Annwn are being developed with a bent towards folklore, legend and myth. The first cultures I have in mind will have a strong Iron Age Celtic flavor to them, and draw heavily from works like the Mabinogion and the Tain Bo Cuilige. After that, though... The lands of Annwn may well come to reflect the myths of the Lands of Men, so that Homeric heroes may one day match wits against Coyote and Raven. We'll have to see how it goes.
