| Prowess: Means developing great skill, ability, strength, and courage to serve. Remember to share these talents with others and not be selfish only thinking of yourself! Loyalty: Means picking a side a staying on it because you believe it is the right side to be on! We are on the side of Trimaris because it is our Kingdom We believe it is the right Kingdom for us, so that means we are Loyal to Trimaris! Defense: Means to help keep from harm. You would defend your family and friends from harm wouldn’t you? You should also defend your kingdom and Crown. You should always defend those to whom you believe worthy of loyalty. Courage: Means to be brave! Courage makes you strong enough to face any foe or problem. Even when things are very hard, you can find the courage to do the right thing. Faith: Means to trust and believe! If you trust and believe in something or someone, then you have faith in them. Faith can help you choose right from wrong. Faith can give you courage and prowess. Humility. Means that you do not brag about yourself or the good things you have done. Let others notice your goodness instead of pointing it out. Remember, using your good manners and being kind to each other are very good ways of being humble. Largesse: Means to be generous and giving to others. Giving doesn’t always mean a gift you can touch. You can give the gift of kind words or good deeds. A helping hand, and hug and a kiss, these are all fine gifts you give of yourself. Nobility: Means to set a good example by living by the rules. Being the best person you can be and living by the code of chivalry will make you a good and noble person. Justice: Means deciding what is right from what is wrong and determining if reward or punish as necessary. Don’t forget that punishment can be a tough and terrible thing, so it must be controlled with mercy. You must remember that there are many sides to every story and Justice means getting all sides and making the right decision. Franchise: Means to live by all the other chivalric codes you have learned today. Prowess, Justice, Loyalty, Defense, Courage, Faith, Humility, Largess and Nobility. Put them in to use in all parts of your life and every action you make and you will be a great Trimarian! |
