I thought that the following deserved a special mention at the top of my list.
This is an International Charity, which was set up following the invasion and subsequent war in Iraq which was begun by the American's and is currently supported mainly by fellow the fellow Australian and British allies governments. This Charity was set up to help needy people, i.e. the innocent civilians who are caught up in this latest war. All money collected will be used to help those in Iraq. So far money, clothes and first aid help have been sent over there through this non-profit organisation.
Come on, and help those in need today.

The following is by know means the sole extensive list of non-profit organisations/charities that are based in New Zealand. I have posted the following up for I believe them to be some of the more worthwhile, and the majority of these I do support in one way or another (either monetary or else I provide some of my valuable time).
As with anything in life there are always new non-profit organisations/charities that pop up all the time, and/or cease to exist.
