These recipes are not mine. I got these from recipe work sheets we used when I completed Home Economics at Intermediate and High School, so as such I don't know who the original authors are (but these recipes sure are great). AVOCADO DIP


INGREDIENTS:
1 large Avocado
1/2 a cup of Sour Cream OR
1/4 of a cup of Sour Cream AND 1/4 of a cup of Cream Cheese
2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice
1/4 of a teaspoon of Salt OR 1/2 a teaspoon of Garlic Salt

METHOD:
01. Put all these ingredients into a food processor and puree until smooth.
02. This will thicken as it stands.
03. Serve this Avocado Dip with sliced carrots, celery, apple and/or corn chips.





CHEESE BALL DIP


INGREDIENTS:
120 grams of Tasty Cheese
180 grams of Cream Cheese
1 teaspoon of Pickle
A pinch of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 a cup of Walnut Pieces

METHOD:
01. Combine all the ingredients into a food processor except for the walnuts.
02. Chill and then shape into a circle.
03. Cover with walnuts.
04. Serve this with cracker biscuits.





SPICY PEANUT DIP


INGREDIENTS:
1 finely chopped Onion
1 tablespoon of finely chopped Root Ginger
1/2 a cup of crunchy loaw salt Peanut Butter
2 tablespoons of low salt Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Curry Powder
1 and a 1/2 cups of Water
1/4 of a cup of natural sweetened Yoghurt

METHOD:
01. Place the onion, ginger, peanut butter, soy sauce, sugar, curry powder and water into a saucepan.
02. Mix together and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened. Stir occasionally.
03. Mix in the yoghurt.
04. Makes approximately two cups.
