Personally however I don't sprinkle salt and pepper on my Bacon and Egg Pie. Also to I add other ingredients such as mushrooms, tomatoes, grated cheese and red and green peppers. Other people are inclined to put other vegetables such as peas and corns e.t.c into there Bacon and Egg Pie. It is an extremely versatile recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Sultanas
Chocolate
Raisins
Orange peel (candied)
Ginger (crystallised)
Glucose (such as barley sugars)
Imagination
Nuts (any kind except for salted nuts)
METHOD:
01. Mix together the chocolate, raisins and nuts to approximately the same amounts as each other.
02. Nibble at it when you need that energy boost whilst you are out walking (usually tramping, i.e. for more than a day).
You can take out the ingredients that you don't quite care for. You can add in extra things that you do like
such as dried apricots, dried apples and banana chips. I mean how many people truely like crystallised ginger huh?!)
Make sure you keep a balance of chocolate, nuts and raisins however, otherwise it just isn't Scroggin!
