Scarlet Moon
Holding hands I felt you
shiver,
I wrapped my arm round your shoulder.
We walked hand in hand....
Having just met-I knew you
not,
But your name, that name of yours was all it took!
I had to know this woman of Scarlet.
You know a rose is scarlet, so they say.
But any rose by any name is not as fair as you!
I held you tight to keep
you warm.
The scent of the scarlet woman did reach me deep, deep inside.
I would never let you go!
The moon rose over the
meadow, the last bird did sing.
I said your name,"Scarlet." You said, " That's Me!"
My heart did skip a beat, my temperature did rise!
The scarlet woman was at my side.
Half bright but yet, half
dark-the moon did light the way.
Our walk was to nowhere.
We had no beginning, and I hope no intended end.
We just walked, and I held you tight.
This was one night I wouldn't let you slip away.
A name, any name, our
names are who we are,
But I see in your name so much we are not.
I see the dawn, Scarlet, red and hot.
I see the night sky-scarlet colors all about,
I see the rose and smell its scent.
Scarlet is the rose.
Scarlet is her name-this woman at my side.
She is more than I am not.
This will not alter my
course.
It stays fast and true.
Your name is Scarlet, and all I want is you!

Your Captive
I cannot get you off of my
mind
I no longer even want to try
Every thought of you makes me smile
A picture of you is burned forever into my mind
I try not to let myself think about
What it would be like waking up beside you
Watching you sleep, you are so soft and beautiful
I imagine I hear you murmur my name, see you smile
Still sleeping, dreaming about the night before
I do not know how we got to this point
Or if we will ever reach that one
I only know that you have taken me captive
And I don't want to be set free.

Dixie
Oh, I wish I was in the
land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away, look away, look away, Dixie Land.
In Dixie Land where I was
born in
Early on a frosty mornin'
Look away, look away, look away, Dixie Land.
Oh, I wish I was in
Dixie...away, away
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die for Dixie.
Away, away, away down South in Dixie
Away, away, away down South in Dixe.
Orchestrated music, Dixie, from the
movie, Gettysburg

Friends, I decided to remove the Comet Cursor
from all of my web sites since
my AdAware software lists it as SpyWare. I do not like any spyware software
and certainly do not approve of the way Comet Cursor unknowingly "bundles" it
with other software.
I was unaware of this but removed it as soon as I learned.
